Even though most fast food chains are standardized, every so often a regional promotion will come up or, even rarer, one local store will do something weird that's exclusive to that store. I'm curious to hear what your local restaurants do.
Here in Quebec, McDonald's has a special burger that's been created by Max Pacioretty of the Montreal Canadiens. It's called the Max 67 and has tomato, lettuce, tri-colored tortilla chips, cheese, onion, bacon bits and nacho sauce.
Even weirder, my local Subway does delivery, which I've never seen in any other store. It's what you'd expect from a Sub that's been made ten minutes before you opened up and ate it.

Japanese McDonalds is big on seasonal items. They always have teriyaki and shrimp burgers as options, but they'll do stuff like the Big America campaign, where they'll release burgers inspired by various US states, along with other campaigns every few months.
Subway here also does the same. Duck subs, Korean bbq subs, etc.
Burger Kimg serves booze.
We get Taco Bell next month so I'm interested in seeing if they make any local items.

not sure if this counts but I recently found out that my local Subway will "sauté" onions and peppers before putting them on the sub. They take the veggies, put olive oil on them with whatever seasonings you want and then put them in the oven until they get hot and soft. this may be a secret menu type item or the girl working there may just like me enough to do it each time.

Not really local, but in Texas, Dairy Queens have different menu items then others out of state. The burgers are called Hunger Busters, and they have a few other items like The Dude(a chicken fried steak burger),crunchy tacos, and steak fingers.

Here in Korea we have special burgers, like the Bulgogi Buger. Mighty Wings are still a thing. We have McSpicy Chicken Tenders. McSpicy Cajun Sandwiches and the similar Shanhai Burger. We had special Honey Butter French Fries a few weeks back (Honey Butter is over huge right now). We had curly fries a few months ago.
They also deliver.
It's quite different.

In McDonald's in Southern New England, you can actually get the Lobster Roll that shows up on every single "Awesome fast food that is only available in certain countries we want McDonald's to bring to America" article.

I don't leave town enough to know but apparently having a drive-through Subway and a Taco Time in it's own building rather than being in a mall is odd. The guy who told me the Taco Time one was a f***ing moron, but he seemed pretty excited when he saw it.

There are still some that have enchiladas rice and beans on the menu in south Texas. I missed the DQ menu the first time I went out of state. First time I went to one in Minot North Dakota, I stepped to the counter and ordered a belt buster combo with a vanilla coke (this was 1998 before coke's national try at vanilla coke). The girl looked at me like I was insane and asked what I wanted again. I didn't know that different regions had different things. I've seen places sample other region's fare in short burst promos. A Burger King here in South Georgia started offering "The. California Whopper". It had pepper jack cheese, guacamole, bacon and Ed onion. It was good but it was too different from what the customers down here wanted, so it went away. They tried "The. Texas Whopper" with bacon, onion, cheese and mustard and it it went over well.

My local Pizza Hut, which is independently owned (not a franchise location), has a lunchtime buffet. I don't think this is standard for most Pizza Huts.
This is a little different from what this topic is talking about, but in Georgia we have quite a few Chik-fil-A Dwarf House restaurants which offer sit-down service and additional menu items including hamburgers and steaks.

Ours did too but now that Pizza Hut is closed. The Burger King near by apparently (according to my brother) was trying to rent the old playroom out as office space. I don't know if I'd trust a business where I'd have to go threw a Burger King to get to it.

Didn't some Wendy's in Florida have what they called a T Rex burger that was like, a dozen patties and buckets of bacon all on a bun?

Whenever I complain about my fish fillet at the local McDonalds the staff throws in a free ounce of semen.

Occasionally, Hardee's around here with sell the Big Shef, which was the main burger of the old Burger Chef chain that, at one point, was the most dominant force in the burger industry in the Midwest... until Hardee's bought them.
But, they haven't done it in a while... I'm getting worried.

I think its actually a separate subsidiary where it is its own sub company or something like that.

McDonalds in Wisconsin sells a Johnsonville brat during football season, usually with a Packers tie in. Donald Driver was advertising it before he retired.

None that I know of, then again a few of the places arounde here (like the nearest McDonald's) is owned by the company itself. My local Pizza Hut, which is independently owned (not a franchise location), has a lunchtime buffet. I don't think this is standard for most Pizza Huts. My local pizza hut has a local buffet... so it might be. In McDonald's in Southern New England, you can actually get the Lobster Roll that shows up on every single "Awesome fast food that is only available in certain countries we want McDonald's to bring to America" article. Yeah, I saw ads for it when I visit my friend in Boston. edit: Oh if we're talking about Delivery the local Burger King delivers. They are doing it to get on smart phone apps like Seamless. Quizno's used to deliver also... but then they got wishy washy about times they would deliver... then they stopped altogether... then they went out of business because no one went to that location due to a terrible parking situation.
