But why would the jobbers, like Well Dunn, be given a manager, only to have them receive no push in the process? Makes no sense. Also, Big Bully Busick was a JTTS but had a manager. I still don't understand this. Same with Kwang. I think they just thought he'd be more than he ended up being. Heenan and Hart were gone, they thought he could fill a void, managers were *still* a role they wanted, he.....wasn't up to snuff. To be fair, though, the WWF around him was falling apart. He could only do do much. Also, Harvey fit Busick's gimmick perfectly. They were compatable characters: 2 olde timey jerks. THAT worked. After Busick bailed.....they made him a doctor, and when that tanked they....stuck with it, until he became a sleazed up businessman or something. He was as confused and directionless as the guys he was managing and the company he worked for at the time.

If they would have pushed Busick as a main eventer with Harvey as his manager, then that could have been cool. But it seemed that they just threw a bunch of random guys with him. He did not fit as Adam Bomb's manager, or Kwang's, or even Sid's. Someone like Sid should have had a more 'official-looking' manager like JJ Dillon.

Order wise I am sure it went like this..
Big Bully Buisick (Sept-Oct 1991) The Warlord (Oct-Early 1992) Sid Justice (Feb 1992-Apr 1992) Kamala (Apr 1992-Dec 1992) Giant Gonzales (Jan 1993-Aug 1993) Mr Hughes (Apr 1993-July 1993) Well Dunn (Aug 1993-Sometime 1994?) Adam Bomb (Oct 1993-June 1994) Kwang (Jan 1994-April 1995) Bertha Faye (Apr 1995-Nov 1995)
He was then a referee (I guess sparodically more than longterm) from Spring 1996 until late 1999, then he was briefly in the Moolah-Mae-Henry angle in early 2000

Imagine. Had Harvey agreed to team with Steve Austin, we never would have had Dude Love.

Huh. And I liked Mr. Hughes (wish he'd stuck around longer - all 3 times he was there...) Well Dunn was around in early 1995, at least. Both were in that "lackluster" Rumble match (I always recall Well being manhandled by Davey Boy his whole time in there and being tossed very quick - IIRC he was the one coming to the ring when Davey Boy tossed Owen)... .......yeah, their last show ( www.thehistoryofwwe.com/95.htm - God bless that site) was an April 1995 Raw, jobbing to the Allied Powers. Regarding Harv the ref, he refereed before that ref strike in 1999? That was the only time I knew of him serving that role.
