For some reason Hogan looks more ageless as Hollywood HH.

Not only did it make no sense having nWo save Sting, two of the guys are best friends with Triple H and X Pac! So they turned on their best friends in order to help their worst enemy...

Wrong biggest swerve was the lack of announce table destructions.

Wrong biggest swerve was the lack of announce table destructions. They decided Mania tables aren't to be messed with after how many times people tried to break them last year and how it wound up for Orton once someone finally managed it.

X-Pac shoulda turned 3 times. Come out as DX, turn NWO, and then turn to DX again. The best bit of the whole thing was X-Pac knocking Hogan down. I LOLd. I marked at X-Pac taking out Hogan. That was a great moment.

It was a pretty cool moment, but I don't see how that made any bit of sense. Sting was on good terms with Nash by the end of WCW, what with them being in the Wolfpac together. And the last time Hogan and Sting were together was in TNA, they had buried the hatchet. And then Hall because why not. So it does make some kind of sense. But that would require WWE acknowledging WCW and TNA continuity....and that would be downright nutty.

After Shawn came out, I was expecting Flair to come out for the Stinger, only to turn on him again for old times sake.

Those were actually Japanese Tables, they don't give for nothing.

I was hoping for Goldberg to come out and wreck everyone's shit. The pop would have been insane.

I am still searching for a way this could've made some sort of sense, but yeah, I can't find it. At least Hogan you could say reformed his ways and is with Sting because Sting's a good guy... but Hall and Nash were JUST celebrating with X-pac, HBK, and HHH the night before... But even then... the entire point of hte NWO were that they were WWF guys coming into WCW to wreck shit... so... yeah. Flair, Arn, Finlay, Booker, Big Show (fine he was in the NWO as well but the NWO seems to only be Hogan Hall and Nash per WWE's continuity ), any of the number of WCW alumni working in the back would have made waaaaaay more sense.

Then again, Vince brought in the nWo "to inject his company with a lethal dose of poison!" (This was when Flair became part-owner. Vince would have rather his creation die than Flair running it.)
So naturally, since the nWo is thought of as being from WCW (even though they were supposedly its own entity and brand), they helped Sting. Sting was ruining the company (today's WWE) because he was from WCW, even though Sting said "he doesn't represent WCW".
So Sting is nWo. See?

The nWo/Sting thing works best if you don't think about it too much. Really, Sting has no reason to still hate the nWo in the year 2015, and he joined an offshoot group of the nWo in 1998 anyway.

Considering back in the day NWO were always built as anti-WCW and looked to tear it down, it made even less sense. Flair coming out would have made the most sense for me. He is close with both Sting and HHH, so him backing Sting would have been both logical and would have got a big reaction as far as the crowd are concerned, and we would have got a bunch of shocked expressions from HHH. A face off with HBK would have also been awesome considering that was his last ever match.
But sod it, it was a bunch of fun!
Let's face it the whole thing was just one big advert for The Monday Night Wars on the Network.

I am still searching for a way this could've made some sort of sense, but yeah, I can't find it. nWo/WCW vs. WWF The enemy of my enemy is my brother. But the whole idea behind the NWO were that they were invaders from WWF. They hated WCW. Shouldn't they have mugged Sting, if we are going by kayfabe logic? It makes a lot more sense if you just assume Hogan, Nash, & Hall weren't down with the Authority since the NWO was all about rebellion and changing the status quo to fit their own view. Plus, Sting was technically a member of the NWO. The Wolfpac off-shoot but still, he repped them at one point.
