All in all, I really liked that tag match.

I'm not normally a debbie downer, but that show was boring man. Felt like a good RAW. Tag match was my MOTN and it was't even extreme lol

my network feed really doesn't really allow me to give a fair assessment of the show. But it just felt kinda meh. Nothing great nothing bad.

Extreme Rules is getting really negative reception so far. Hell, about five minutes into the cage match I was begging for the show to be over and I didn't start watching until Reigns / Show.

So, this PPV doesn't really live up to the insanely high bar set in past years, where the PPV right after WrestleMania was usually as good, or sometimes even better than the preceding Mania itself. Not so much this year. Still, a decent show, but it could've taken place anytime during the year & it wouldn't have mattered.
It really was a pretty lackluster card, filled with either rematches, or matches you can see on any random Raw. I think there's something to be said for the way the crowd responded too. Off the top of my head, here's a few possible reasons they weren't as hyped as they usually are.
** The crowd kind of burnt themselves out early during the pre-show. ** There was no CM Punk (which obviously everyone already knew about). ** No Daniel Bryan. He had been advertised/hyped up for the show, but couldn't compete at the last minute due to injury. ** Ambrose/Harper disappearing for a while, then coming back later to basically no fanfare. Had there been a camera following these guys outside the arena, out east into & around Chicago before eventually returning, then the crowd wouldn't have been so bored with the match. ** No AJ (retired), & no Paige (filming a movie, but still should've been there). ** No Lucha Dragons. Kalisto would blown the roof off the arena! ** Neville being stuck on the pre-show. Had his match been in the middle of the card it would've woken the crowd up, & had them going nuts, the same as if they saw Kalisto. ** No Wyatt except for another pre taped promo. ** Cesaro/Kidd losing the titles to a group of guys who are close to having X Pac heat. ** Ziggler wins, but is still embarrassed by having to kiss Sheamus' ass. WTF is the point of the stipulation if you're not going to abide by it? ** Big Show vs Reigns. 'Nuff said. Cena/Rusev was lackluster all the way around, & with Cena coming out on top the crowd kind of had a been there, done that attitude. ** Ryback being his same dominant boring self. Here Wyatt could've attacked him & that would've popped the crowd. I have a feeling they feared Wyatt would get a face pop for attacking Ryback though. ** A cage match that really lacked any sort of creativity. Kane getting involved & playing both sides didn't help either.
Just poor booking in one of the greatest WWE cities there is. Hell, even sitting at home, I started getting bored with the show & did a couple other things while everything was going down.
I'm usually quick to defend most of what WWE does, but tonight was a bit rough.

The show was fine except for the title match and Cena. Everything else was fine for me but those two were boring as f***.
Cena winning is boring, Seth and Orton have no chemistry and a cage match in 2015 when we have Cells and Chambers is boring as f***.

I didn't think it was terrible or anything, it was just kind of there.
The tag match was good.
I'm not sure what to think of Naomi's new theme.

Having low expectations, I enjoyed the show ok. Nothing more, nothing less.
