To be fair it's hardly private when we learn about Bryan "pulling out" and Nikki's sex toys on Total Divas. I'm not saying it's right but it was bound to happen at some point. Thank you. To paraphrase myself from earlier in the thread, WWE put it all out there with this new "Reality" era. Between social media and Total Divas, WWE intentionally blurred the lines. This is a byproduct. Not the most tasteful, but a legit one. So it's okay with you if I went to a show and chanted or brought a sign that said "RIKISHI HATES BLACK PEOPLE" or "EVA MARIE'S TITS CAUSED HER TO HAVE TO GET MAJOR SURGERY" or "NATALYA'S DAD HAD TO GO TO REHAB" because they were storylines on Total Divas right?

How does it play into the show? Because they're heels? By that logic it plays no more into the show than yelling about the Bellas sucking Bryan/Cena's dicks. Telling heels who are bragging about their spot and have been around forever while cheering for and chanting for younger guys to "Please retire" is no where near telling 5 women who have busted their asses to become decent to great wrestlers in the division they only have a spot because sucked the cocks of other workers. Nattie, Brie, AJ, Naomi and Nikki all got those chants, none of them deserve that and I cannot stand two of them. There is a far and away huge difference between "Please Retire. We're sick of you and want someone else" and "You sucked dick to get your spot you useless whore" I'd hope that is obvious. And there's also a difference between "You suck your husband's dick" and "You sucked dick to get your spot you useless whore". The first one is almost certainly true, albeit completely inappropriate and disrespectful to chant. The second one is something that's inferred and adds a derogatory term that was never used. I honestly don't think the chants were meant like that. I really don't. I just think wrestling fans are idiots who think that knowing something personal is cool and creating chants/signs about it is even cooler. As for the retirement chants, again it's easy to brush it away because they're heels. Like I said you can do the same for the Bellas. They are portrayed on-screen as mean-girl bully bitches. Implying they slept their way to the top (if that is what the crowd meant) is an easy way to get under their skin. Hell, it's even been implied by faces on WWE TV before. It was bound to happen, especially the way the Divas' personal lives are put out on reality shows like they are.

I don't mind the sleeping your way to the top stuff if there is basis for it (Brie is a good target even though they have distanced Bryan and Brie on RAW), but there has got to be better way to do it than what heard. It also wasn't just the Bellas, people heard it for Nattie, AJ and I think Naomi as well. That is why I think it was meant in a completely derogatory fashion rather than any attempt to be a chant about the match. When it comes to the chants at Show, his can always be roped into the show whether they are supposed to be or not. He can take "please retire" and make something of it (and has), the Divas cannot take you suck dick chants and turn them into anything no matter the intention.

I believe the chants were aimed at the Bellas at first and then they applied them to the rest because "Haha look at how cool we are, we know who you all sleep with!". And as seen with the "We're awesome" chant, sometimes the fans just want to act cool even if it just comes across as dumb, crude and possibly offensive.

The whole Divas' situation is just a damn weird one and when you get crowds like tonight's it only adds to the confusion.

Some nice loud "Let's go AJ" chants and and a big "Let's go Divas" chant. That's the main thing which makes me think they were just trying to be clever rather than sexist pigs.

Honestly, I'm ashamed to live in this area, and had I forked up the cash to go there live, I would have been either totally annoyed and not having any fun, or getting expensively drunk so I COULD have fun.
The wave is for assholes. Period. I don't like it when bored non-fans do it at A's games, and I sure as hell don't like it at a WWE event.
The thing about it is that for me, these are performers. If you go into a stand-up show and interrupt the comedian, you're a f***ing asshole. I can't for the life of me understand the difference here. This is the exact same kind of shit that makes people look at Wrestling fans and see unintelligent rednecks. And it happened in my home town. f***. f***. They had a lot of fun, but chanting that shit at divas when they are obvious a smark crowd that f***ing KNOWS that they are literally begging for more time to tell stories and taking that opportunity, post wrestlemania, no less, away from them is completely f***ed up and I don't jive with it at all.
f*** those guys.

The chants during the Divas match made me ashamed to be a wrestling fan.
Not even Katie Vick managed that.

I hate the "You hate X chants? Then you hate fun" mentality...
Just because I find a chant annoying doesn't mean I hate fun.

If it helps, most of the crowd probably weren't locals. I believe most of the post-Mania crowd is comprised of the people who fly in and make a whole week of the event.

I hope this diva sexist chant shit doesn't catch on. I love insane crowds, not hateful ones. On the plus side, I didn't even understand what they were saying then. I doubt I'm alone there.

"X hates black people" signs should be the new "X fears Y" sign.
