Taker and Sting at the airport together after Mania Probably the closest we get to seeing them in a match Breaking Kayfabe like that, I hope the old pros don't see this.... Never mind. Taker looks like 'grizzled veteran with prostate issues', while Sting looks like 'cool dad who will shamelessly hit on daughter's college friends'.

It all came off terribly. He loses. Shakes hands with the man who hit him with a sledgehammer to win. Then the man who beat him bragged about beating him and said that he owned him. The next night Sting (on the Network, not on the actual show) says that he didn't win, but at least he was at Mania.
It sucks that WWE used Sting like that. It's not altogether horrible, but it's a shame that it played out like that.

I love how Sting refused to wrestle for Vince because he said he wouldn't be used right, goes his own way for fourteen years, then comes back and this happens.

I like how Survivor Series was literally entirely pointless.
The faces get the Authority out of power and Sting shows up for the first time... Authority's back in power a month later, Sting shows up to again try and take them down, instead the match proper turns into a goofy WWE vs. WCW showdown, he loses, and Sting forgets his initial point and just says, "Sorry, but hey, I earned his respect!" and leaves. And Ziggler's in the same place he was before.

Not to mention that Orton and Ryback (like them or hate them) both got their return momentum flushed down the shitter for the same stupid "will-they-or-won't-they" Authority storyline.

Survivor Series did make me really happy though, and it's a highlight of Ziggler's career, so that's something.

Seems like they went out of their way to make him look humble. I was kind of expecting Renee Young to kick him in the nuts.

I mean...there's always the chance that he was just genuinely happy to be there.

Translation: "They finally offered me enough money" Or possibly, "Man, I don't want that Magnus match to be the last thing anyone remembers I did."

That was one lackluster interview.
"So Sting, what's next?"
"Um.. I don't know really. Maybe stuff."

I can't think of a better video that describes Sting's interview on Raw.

The hell. After all that build up about 14 years in the making taking Triple H down, Triple H cheats to beat him, Sting SHAKES HIS HAND, left off Raw, then just says "just glad I made it to be the big game guys!?" Not a babyface I can get behind. This explains why everyone turns on Sting. Ric Flair: Welcome to the Four Horsemen, Stinger! Sting: I'm just happy to be on the team guys! (Sting leaves the room. After he leaves, Ric Flair's face turns to a look of total disgust) Ric Flair (in a mocking tone of voice): "I'm just happy to be on the team guys!" That's it, we are totally breaking that guy's f***ing knee the first chance we get!

I just love the fact that they signed this man so that the Reign of Terror could come full circle 12 years later. I was thinking more the ending to a supposed invasion.

Seems like they went out of their way to make him look humble. I was kind of expecting Renee Young to kick him in the nuts. You just spoiled Summerslam. Now why not let them know Cena makes Rollins submit with the help of Bayley who proclaims herself as Paige's partner in wrestling and life.
