Kalisto looked like a freaking star.
Hopefully he can keep it up, and have the crowds hooked before he gets stuck working with guys like Kane or the Ascension (again), stiffs who can't keep up with his offense.

Kalisto is easily New Mysterio.

So Mighty Mouse and the gay hair stylist debuted tonight huh? Oh wait they didn't? Anyone remember those dirtsheets and how far too many people believed it? Ug. Anyways Kalisto was super amazing. I do wonder if he'll be able to do moves like that with guys other than Cesaro. Neville... was put in a much less favorable position. The crowd wants to cheer Axel. The cape.... don't like it. Should've kept his first name, at least for a while. Fantastic moves though. If he can pull off stuff like that every week, he'll be fine. Or on Mighty Mouse, people ignored the actual report of it being Vince seeing him as a stacked small dude that can kick ass and ran with it meaning he'd be a clone of the cartoon character.

That was absolutely the right crowd and opponents for Kalisto to make his main show debut (c shows don't count -_-)
the audience doing the LU-CHA chant with him while Sin Cara half assedly followed Kalisto as usual really added to his debut... and having The Ascension who they worked with a bunch of times in NXT, and Cesaro and Kidd hwo have worked the lucha style knew exactly what to do.
Neville I didn't mind his cloak (IT HAS A HOOD AND CLOSES IN FRONT THAT IS A CLOAK PEOPLE NOT A CAPE!), Neville on it's own is a little weird... but I think I'll get used to it but it's not as good as PAC as a solo name. He looked great in his match as well but people like Curtis' goofiness so he may not have been the right opponent. But he had one of the most dominant face debuts I can think of.

Kalisto is a little different to what we are normally used to on the main roster but I can tell he's going to be creating some amazing moments in years to come. Neville will also be a great hand on the roster it's a shame they got rid of the smoke in his entrance and changed his name though.

I think they KINDA missed the opportunity to have Neville debut during the Cena open challenge. I get that it wouldn't make too much sense or whatever but it would have been nice. I would've much rather seen that situation. It would be a "look good in defeat" situation that actually goes right. Ambrose has main evented PPVs and been dominant with the Shield, so almost beating John Cena doesn't do a damn thing for him. It would've done wonders for Adrian Neville though. That would have been a smart throwback to how Cena debuted taking Angle to the limit as well

Loved both, both seem destined for greatness.
One minor thing: unless I heard it wrong, was the "LU-CHA LU-CHA" chanting in the Lucha Dragons' entrance theme not in sync with the actual rhythm of their entrance music? Might have been just me hearing it wrong, but it sounded like one halfstep behind the actual rhythm of the theme. Anyone else hear this?

Neville is not a cool enough name to have on it's own. He should have kept his first name and that cape looked silly. Other than that the man is fluid in everything he does and is fantastic. Agree with all this. Serious Champion Adrian Neville > Wears a cape for no reason just Neville. But, these are small things I will get over as long as he's used well.

One of my favourite parts of the monday night wars was the cruiserweight division in WCW, especially the luchadores. I welcome these high flyers with open arms. They made great first impressions too.

I've seen maybe 2 or 3 Neville matches ever, but I hated how they changed camera angles mid-dive on that "Red Arrow". Other than that I loved his debut

I'm glad Neville was over, but I don't much care for him as a talent. Also he looked tiny next to Axel and it's making me worry about all the other NXT guys, even Owens. I wonder if we are entering the era of the vanilla midgets?

Kalisto is like what Rey was in 1996, but better.

Kalisto is like what Rey was in 1996, but better. I have been a fan of him for awhile now. He never talks though. Can he speak English? That could be a problem. But he is a great talent. On Neville. Everyone talks about him as a fast highflyer. But hae has worked many a slow paced match on NXT while throwing in a highflying move here and there without making it look like a spotfest. Thats what I love about him. He knows when to use the moves and to pace a match. It also amazes me that every move he hits seems to land near perfect. He never looks sloppy. An awesome talent.

Kalisto was made into a star tonight. How could that guy not possibly get over big? That was impressive as hell. Hopefully they can get rid of the Matador gimmick and just let Primo be Primo again. Dream match. I get that there's a heel turn looming for Ambrose but Neville should have answered that open challenge. Balor should have been in the main event over Reigns but Hunter seems to want to hold on to his bigger stars which is why Charlotte and Balor didn't debut. Kalisto will be over huge so long as he doesn't wrestle the same match over and over. ...He may be in trouble.

Kalisto's from Chicago if my memory serves me correctly. He's fluent in English. Having heard him talk before, he sounds EXACTLY like Rey but with more promo ability and his energy coming out in his voice as well.

Good going WWE, I fell for your gimmick.

The only thing with Kalisto is that he's going to need new music when they finally break him away from Bored Hunicara.
If they want to keep the "Lu-CHA! Lu-CHA!" intro if it gets over, that's fine, but the rest is too laid back and breezy to fire up a crowd.
