To this day I'll never understand why WWE is obsessed with putting people out there who aren't ready.
Exasperating to see someone use the flagship show as their developmental territory and get REWARDED for it by management.
Oh this person who can't wrestle well or cut a decent promo - the basic tenants of wrestling - yeah, let's give them more time on the show.
Developmental exists for that reason.
If you're going to give divas a chance, make it the best divas you've got.

The chants were bad but my God, some of the hyperbole in here. Anyone would think the crowd had started chanting for Hitler. Wait till he wrestles Roman Reigns.

The irony is, for lack of a better word I can think of, the Bellas, who only got where they were because they suck the right dick, have probably shown more improvement over the past year or two than any other divas in that division, and they probably do the most work in terms of appearances and such.

They are grown adults who use the 'L for Loser' handsign in 2015.
I have zero sympathy.

If you're going to hate on the Bellas for that, hate on Triple H. Hate on anyone that Vince has fondled along the way... Come on man, they aren't where they are because of their partners. They've been working their asses off for years now, and at this point, I think they are better ring-wise than AJ - who seems to be phoning it in.

Nikki got a title reign before she started dating Cena, and Brie got a title reign when Bryan was in the midcard. They're where they are because the WWE has always loved them.

The chants were somewhat extreme, but when you market a reality show around your relationship with the poster boys of the company, that's a risk you're gonna deal with. Notice how it only happened with the Total Divas and the AJ one barely lasted, considering her and Punk are not like "LOOK AT US, WE'RE DATING/MARRIED, WATCH IT ON E EVERY SUNDAY", while Paige is dating... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Oh... Uh yeah, they're not gonna show that on TD. But to my main point, when you're throwing your relationship into the open like the TDs are, there's gonna be douches that do that. They didn't seem particularly fazed by it anyway. Thankfully so, because it was a good match. I don't get this argument. When you have a reality show based on any person who isn't single, their relationship is usually one of the biggest things in their lives. It's not okay to chant "you suck someone" because they are dating someone and happened to be featured on TV. It's like saying it's okay to chant you suck Brad Pitt at Angelina Joile since they appear in a lot of red carpet events, public events, interviews, and even did a movie together. I'm not saying they DESERVE it as such, it's pretty terrible. And it's not really comparable to that as just being with someone and going to events with them is just normal, but TD literally markets itself on the personal lives of the people in these relationships and the pointless shit they get up to. Everyone on that show, they want the attention on the fact that they're with these people, and Monday's fans were giving them that attention, just in a particularly cruel and sexist way. I'm not endorsing it at all, I think the show is stupid to begin with, I don't even care who's dating who, and if it were me, I'd just do the standard boo the Bellas and Natalya rather than insult them personally. And maybe chant "Divorce CM Punk" to AJ, but that's only because I'm insanely pathetically jealous.

The Bellas have always been loved more than they deserved by the office. But I can't deny that both women have tried very hard to improve despite the fact that they might have it made because of the office or their boyfriends.

Austin would give the double finger salute to people, heel or face. That's very disrespectful, but no one ever complained. Rock would insult people for everything they were, looks, character, talent - sexual partners and even at times, sexual orientation, and that too was fine. DX asked people to suck their dicks - and people chanted and loved it.
The Bellas call their opponents losers, and that's the worst form of bullying ever. I don't get it.

Women's matches on TV are generally short and awful. The Bellas have improved but were horrendous for most of their accumulated time on the roster, and represent many of WWE's chronic problems with cultivating weak talent at the expense of strong talent. Naomi has gotten over on here own but WWE repeatedly cuts her off at the knees. Most of the more prominent divas are on a reality TV show where they're often portrayed as vacuous and repugnant. Smart fans in NXT are respectful of the women wrestlers. Why the difference? Because NXT treats women as the equal of men. On Raw, the women are second-class, and the fans recognize that, and out of protest to the second-class wrestlers who they think symbolize what is wrong with women's wrestling, they react negatively. I'm not trying to be a devil's advocate and I don't support what they did, but I think it's easy to see why it happened, and it could be avoided pretty easily.

We're not blaming WWE for this one. We're certainly not blaming the Bellas.
The WWE have been breaking records with length time for women's matches each week and Nikki is an awesome heel. Yet, what do I see when I log on? A gif of AJ rubbing Paige's butt for a second. Maybe. WWE are actually giving divas a chance right now and, to that crowd, and to a lot of people online, that's not really interesting to talk about. I guess it's fun to whack WWE on the head and join a twitter movement but no one gives a damn about where that leads.
Yes, there were favorable chants for the women but I assure you that those in charge hear the loud noise, and they like it, it's better than silence but it's not something they take seriously. They shouldn't.
It ruined the rest of the show for me.

There is no way Nattie ever sucks Tyson's anything. So the chants are shameful and incorrect. The only that sucks to Tyson is Bad Luck Fale.

It doesn't help that the commentary team either demonizes (she's crazy! You know how women are, maggle) or overly sexualizes them, paying the bare min of lip service to actually promoting them as athletes.

WWE doesn't like to focus on the in-ring action and the women's storylines are bad. We get garbage like Paige crawling over people and licking them. Is that what passes for women's wrestling? It's unacceptable, and it's wrong. There's something else that's being overlooked. A lot of people in the audience popped for the finish and the final part of the match. The crowd started off apathetic and rude, but the ladies in the ring won most of them over by the end. If WWE is willing to commit to the divas and consistently give them more time to wrestle and show what they can do in the ring, then the issues of negative fan reaction will go away.
