I remember some people talking about how long they thought this year's matches would be, as well as comparing total match times of previous Manias. So, just for the hell of it, here's this years' times.
Tag Titles(preshow) - 9:58 ATGMBR(preshow) - 18:05 IC Title Ladder Match - 13:47 Orton/Rollins - 13:15 Sting/HHH - 18:36 Divas Tag - 6:42 U.S. Title - 14:31 Taker/Wyatt - 15:12 WWE WHC - 16:43
Total Wrestling - 98:46 (main card) 126:49 (including preshow)

It may not look like a lot of time, but I think they got it right here. There weren't any matches that felt like they were dragging or going too long. In a perfect world, either the musical performance could be cut and/or Rock/Rousey/Authority segment would have taken a lot quicker to get done to get one or both of the pre-show matches in, but what's done is done.

That is sad. WrestleMania should have at least 120 minutes of in-ring action. The Rock-Rousey segment should've been saved for Raw.

The main reason they apparently moved the ATGMBR to the preshow was because they needed room due to time issues, but the show still went over 4 hours, they didn't even have time to show the video package & had to shorten the main event.

HHH had the longest match on the show?
I'm so shocked right now.

Rock took what felt like twenty minutes to even start talking. I wonder if anyone's gonna edit out all the words of a Rock promo like that Dr. Phil video.

man they could have fit another match or two easily. Just get rid of the concert and limit rousey/rock segment. 7 matches is still too few for mania imo.

The total match time seems incredibly short, but none of the matches really seemed too rushed. The Rock/Rousey segment clearly dragged, but that was more of an issue with the timing of dusk and the entrances for Wyatt/Taker. One of the better paced Mainias in the past decade.

I didn't think the matches seemed too short or too long. The wrestling timings shouldn't be about setting your watch to them, only the Rock segment seemed too lengthy.

Which was longer, the Divas match or Terminator H's entrance?

I'm surprised by this. I have no problem with a 15 minute match time but for Wrestlemania I always thought the big marquee matches went at least a half hour. Wasn't Taker versus Triple H in the cell something like 45 minutes?

That is sad. WrestleMania should have at least 120 minutes of in-ring action. The Rock-Rousey segment should've been saved for Raw. You really can't, though. Wrestlemania, as much as a lot of fans don't want it to be, is more of an attraction in Vince's eyes than a wrestling show. Rousey HAS to be on Mania, because that's the biggest thing that will happen in the WWE to the mainstream media in a long time. It was on the front page of ESPN until Tuesday. Not to be rude or anything, but if you think you move Ronda to Raw to make more time for matches, you don't really get the concept of WM. Now, the segment went on for too long, yeah. And the music performance could be moved. Because while it does fall into the attraction part of WM, it's not essential. Ronda WAS an essential part of the show, as they illustrated by having her in a segment with the Rock and the people who run the WWE. It's kind of like the Super Bowl having someone/some band that most football fans don't really care to hear. Because it's more about the show and pleasing everyone than it is about your fanbase. Because they're going to be there regardless.
