Rock vs Brock (apparently) has been discussed for Wrestlemania 32. If this happens do you think they would book Rock to win, since he's the big name, big celebrity movie star guy?
I know its a big match, and they want to break the attendance record next year, but the thought of Rock just waltzing back in and beating Brock really annoys me. In kayfabe, as well, Rock has barely wrestled in a decade and Brock has morphed into an invincible machine.
So for the reason that I think Rock would win, I want him to go away. I know we moan about part timers, but I feel Lesnar is seperate to that as he is actually going to be semi regular for the next thee years and his main job is WWE. Thoughts?

Surely this does not happen anymore since Brock is about for at least another 3 years?
Also - I don't care how big a star he is, The Rock beating Brock would be the fakest thing I've ever seen in wrestling. Even worse than HHH and Cena since you can argue they were more active than Rock.
I despise the mere idea of this match.

He's been destroyed in all of their matches, whilst fighting valiantly, and only came close to beating Brock at NoC. At Extreme Rules, Lesnar got cocky, Cena got lucky, plus Heyman reasoned Lesnar was only at 50% at the time. Cena, I had no problem hanging with Brock as hes kayfabe the top guy.

I could actually have believed Ronda turning heel and kicking the Rock's ass. No f***ing WAY should he ever beat Lesnar.

I agree, but The Rock has nothing like that. He has movies. That's it. That's like Bruce Willis beating Brock.

Surely if Rock has seen Lesnar's style recently he doesn't want to get tossed on the back of his head 20 times and semi-legit punched in the face this time next year.

Whenever Rock talks in interviews about wanting to wrestle Brock I just wonder what it is he thinks he could do with Brock Lesnar that would be any different than what he'd do with Cena, or Triple H, or Rusev, or whatever. It just seems like Rock is a UFC fan, therefore, he wants a match with Brock, without worrying about fitting into Brock's current aesthetic. It would be the same as Triple H and Undertaker's most recent matches against him, decent matches within their own bubble but neither guy was really able to have the kind of match Brock should be having with everyone. Brock shouldn't have to conform to anyone's style, people should have to keep up with his pace and I can't see Rock doing it. I can't see Rock's people even allowing him to.

I always wanted to see Austin Lesnar, even with Austin at 50. But lets be real, Austin is way past it, and no way is he going to be believable against Lesnar nor will his neck take those suplexes too well.

You guys do know Rock was a wrestler in the past and one of the biggest wrestling stars ever before going to Hollywood, right? Comparing him to Bruce Willis is ridiculous.

Maybe it happens, but the long Mania segment with Rock and Triple H was absolutely meant to tease that they would wrestle next year. The Ronda Rousey/Stephanie involvement teases that they might be involved too. Also, there was a SmackDown segment between Triple H and Rock that also teased a future Mania match.
However, let's say Rock does fight Brock. I think both would be willing to do the job. Brock would probably be the better choice to win because presumably he would still go back to working part-time with WWE.

It would kinda ruin Brock's final boss thing on another part timer... So yes, WWE will have Rock win

Think they're doing Rock vs Haitch. I actually think that Rock vs Reigns would be better for both of them. I don't know all I know is that even though I complain about all these old dudes coming back, something about the biggest Mania having Rock vs HHH, Taker's Last Match(Sting?) and Austin possibly coming back for one more match, is worth the thousands in travel expenses.

The Rock has wrestled as many matches in about 14 years as Brock in the past year. Even with Brock's limited schedule. And Brock is a UFC champion. The idea of Rock beating him with a People's Elbow was insulting in 2002 - now after Brock's UFC run and his WWE booking now, it's insulting to even suggest this match. Tell me Brock gets beat with the People's Elbow with a straight face.

Tell me Brock gets beat with the People's Elbow with a straight face. Not any less unrealistic than Brock screaming for Paul Heyman to help him beat HHH. Rock has credibility and is in great shape. He's not an actor who has never set foot in a ring. Honestly, no one is built enough to be a believable threat to Lesnar. They'll have to either pussify him again like they did in 2012-13 to bring him down to everyone else's level, or have someone like Rock do it where it would be more of an attraction match than a storyline. With that said, Rock is clearly open to jobbing. Do Brock/Rock with Brock going over is always a possibility. Neither man seems to care about losing. As long as they get paid.

Rock can't wrestle anymore. He's a movie star now.
Brock is as good or better than he ever was. Rock's latest matches he has lost a few steps and his character is not as good either.

I can't decide whether or not Brock's excellent booking would be trumped by WWE's ridiculous hard-on for the Rock.

He didn't last time (Summerslam 2002). This time isn't looking too good, either.

Nobody should beat Brock, ever, unless they can get the Hulk to appear and even then I'm not sure
