Roddy Piper vs. the other bum from They Live. Family Guy blatantly stole the concept for their Peter VS. the big chicken fights.

Alan Ladd and Van Heflin vs. a load of bad guys, in Shane - when Heflin crashes in with a chair over a guy's head, I defy you not to mark out.

South Park recreated this fight I believe for Timmy vs. Jimmy on one episode. If this is true about Family Guy then that is one more strike against them.

Also, I don't think they stole the concept of the fight; I think they did it as an homage to the fight because it was so good.

I thought the fight between Rocky and the cocky heel Apollo Creed from part 2 was great: youtube.com/watch?v=aMksL8AVSbY&search=rocky%202The desperation in Apollo's trainer's voice is great acting,IMO as you can hear the sense of urgency for Apollo to retain the title.

I liked Apollo's trainer as well...Him yelling at Creed that Rocky did not know it was an exhibition in part one is freaking cool and him trying to tell Apollo's camp about the rib pounding Rocky did on tv during part one is awesome.....
To answer the thread's question how come nobody has mentioned the epic between Zach and Slater on Saved By The Bell where their punches missed by legitimately a foot or two yet they kept selling the shots?

We used that on our school announcements once

The last fifteen minutes of Big Trouble In Little China, where its Lo Pan, The Three Storms, and the entire Wing Kong gang against Jack Burton, Wang, Egg, and the entire Chang Seng gang. Just ****ing awesome. It includes the greatest death scene ever with this...

The knife throwing I mean, I'd say more but y'know spoilers.
