The wife and I loved it. It was like The Larry Sanders Show (an absolute favorite of ours), only with Muppets.

I...very much enjoyed it. When I heard the premise, I was intrigued. It exceeded by expectations, though. Good stuff!

So this premiered...thoughts? Loved it. It was a mockumentary about show biz that I liked which is saying something, because I was getting kind of tired of both mockumentaries and shows/movies about show biz. There was (I think) no drastic changes to The Muppets nor did it merely tread on nostalgia and try to get by on that. Also, Kermit The Frog as the show runner for Up Late with Miss Piggy kind of reminded me of Conan O'Brien's show runner Jeff Ross. Two of my favorite parts of the pilot: 1. When Kermit explains to Electric Mayhem that they are in a staff meeting. Zoot starts to say "This is a meeting? Oh, well I'm Zoot and......" (Floyd Pepper whispers in his ear explaining that it's a staff meeting and not an AA meeting). 2. Fozzy explaining his difficulties with internet dating: "When you say 'passionate bear looking for love' in your online profile, you get a lot of wrong responses. Well, not 'wrong'. Just wrong for me!"

I thought it was great. Really interested in the series developing and I hope Riki Lindhome and Fozzie continue as a couple. It's nice how everyone kind of kept their roles from The Muppet Theater but has had them updated for the Talk Show format.

I had mixed feelings about it. There were some funny parts like the aforementioned Bergeron moments and Zoot in the meeting. I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would though. It just didn't click with me overall. It wasn't terrible by any means and I will give the second episode a chance because I have always enjoyed The Muppets. Hopefully it will grow on me.

I loooooved it. I like the Muppets but I'm not a huge fan or anything, so I didn't know if it would be a show I stuck around for to watch every week or if it's be a one off. I enjoyed it so much I'm making sure to add it to the scheduler. Hopefully some of the audience sticks on ABC to watch Fresh Off the Boat, which is also a great show.
The stuff with Tom Bergeron and Fozzy's girlfriend's dad were my favorite parts.

I liked it, though I find it odd that some critics thought that the somewhat more adult tone of show was off putting. It's not like it was a betrayal of Jim Henson's grand vision for the characters because at the beginning of franchise there was a similar kind of edge, hell the first ever Muppet's prime time special was called "Sex and Violence" after all.

This was exactly in the spirit of Jim Henson. I seriously doubt Steve Whitmire or Dave Goelz would have anything to do with something that betrayed Jim's vison.

Just watched it off Hulu. I liked it. Neat to see more story-driven Muppets stuff and not just related to the variety show like The Muppet Show was.
Seeing that others not here have had criticisms about the relationship Fozzie had...with Muppets, interspecies dating seems not to be a big deal. Kermit with pigs, and even on the Muppet Show back in the day, Piggy used to flirt with the male guest stars on occasion too.

Which makes Sam The Eagle's scene reading the overly cautious notes of the network's standards and practices department even funnier.

I just watched it. It wasn't bad just thought it could be a bit funnier and the whole Fozzie bear sub-story with his girlfriends parents...it was meh mostly on the parents side
