. I've never been a big fan of the guy, but after seeing him flip the bird to/mock a kid with a CM Punk shirt on at a TNA house show, I can confirm he's a disgusting human being. Wait. He did? When?

This was at a house show in Rome, GA a few years back. Rome is a small, hole-in-the-wall town, so it's not like it would be big news. He was in the final match of the show. He did that, then proceeded to do CM Punk's wrist 'thing' before, during, and after the match. It was really odd. It's amazing that CM Punk bugs him THAT much.

Absolutely.
Clean yourself up, pass drug tests, agree to random ones, and perhaps I'll rehire you.
But if I were running TNA we wouldn't have Eric Young with god awful amounts of Bacne either.

I would have fired him but have left the door open for him to return.

Jeff Hardy has known drug problems and was allowed to perform while imparied. A LOT of people should have been fired.
Though Hardy should have definitely been told to enter rehab and get sorted out, with the knowledge that a position at TNA will still be there for him if he want it and after he's proven he's cleaned up.

I wanna say that I remember hearing that he took the Punk promo that came right after the Loser Leaves WWE Match, and the subsequent drug bust days later, very, very personally. There was even a video of a messed out of his mind Jeff going off on Punk. Throw in the fact that Punk dated Lita for awhile leading to Matt, who was also right around the worst point of his substance abuse, having a huge beef with him.

I would have had Mike Tenay windmill his dick in front of Jeff's face and then fired him on the spot.

Was always a big fan of them, especially Matt.

A nationally televised PPV that people certainly paid good money to see, plus if I remember right PPVs were the only time they were allowed to charge for Impact Zone tickets. He'd be fired, whoever decided to make the call to send him out there like that would be fired, whoever knew he'd shown up like that but didn't say anything would be fired. Persona non grata, the lot of 'em.
Why TNA hired repeat f***ups in the first place, especially when there were guys who were both just as good and far more dependable out there, I'll never understand.

Not only that, I would have him drug tested for Willow.

he'd be fired as soon as he showed up like that. and I'd send someone out there to tell the fans exactly what happened and how they don't deserve a worthless junkie who cares more about drugs than doing his job as their world champion. obviously if Jeff's fired right away it precludes having to fire the shmucks that decided to send him out there anyway.

Cause Ditzy has less IQ than A guy with ten percent of a brain. She's the one who hired Russo back again and again despite Spike ordering her not to, kept Hogan and Flair around while they leeched off the company. Hired Hogan's worthless daughter, brought back Hall after he no showed them and a lot more.

TNA is truly lucky they have Panda Energy or they would have been out of business years ago. Didn't Spike pay Hogan’s contract?

He would of been fired and made an example out of. Also whoever sent him out there would of also felt wrath as well. For a guy like Sting i'm pretty sure that was a nail in the coffin as far as him retiring with TNA. I'm glad Jeff is clean now but somebody should make him watch that video every year on its anniversary to remind him of his stupidity.

Of course I would have fired him.
That night is still being thrown in TNA's face.
This was a match TNA would have wanted to slap all over everything as their showpiece. It should have been that.

You know how in the film Hercules, when Hades gets angry he gets all fire-y?
That would be me. Complete with flames. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have hired him in the first place. I know dude's a draw, but the risks that come with him wouldn't be worth it IMO. There's people who are similar draws that you could get that wouldn't have the issues.

To tie it into current issues with Josh Hamilton and the Angels, if you know someone has a history of abuse and you sign them you should expect the worse case scenario to happen. If i'm not mistaken they signed Jeff right after that bust and knew if worst came to worst he could had done time. TNA gambled with Jeff to long and they lost on that night. Josh Hamilton of the angels has had his share of problems to the point of being blackballed out the league. Despite him getting clean you should expect the worse and now the Angels want nothing to do with him. For these type of guys their can be great reward but also great risk.
