Does anyone else have it? I know a lot of people still haven't heard of it but from what I hear the company is starting to gain some traction and grow. Basically it is a subscription service where you get to see as many non 3D and Imax movies for 30 to 40 dollars a month depending on where you live. You can only see one movie a day and there is a 24 hour time period after the start of when the movie starts before you can see the next one. I've had it for over two years now and it works great for me but for it to be worth it you have to see a lot of movies. Here is more about it www.businessinsider.com/moviepass-app-netflix-movie-theaters-2015-3I'm hoping as a company they get bigger and are actually making a profit. It is really useful for me so it would suck if it went away. I know they have a lot of investment money so I'm hoping that they are just staying afloat with that and are actually becoming a viable company.

I got a buddy that has it. Goes to a movie almost every day.No theater near me honors it. Plus there isn't enough films playing locally I would want to see in a theater.

Pretty cool idea, but I don't go to the movies often enough to justify it

I probably do go to the movies enough to justify it, but I haven't done the math to see if it makes more sense than the AMC stubs card (10$ back for every 100$ spent, discounts on concessions) especially considering it is inevitable that I'll see some things on the IMAX.

I've been a member since the beta launch in late 2011. I love it as I go to the movies all the time. Tour math must be pretty crumby if you don't think it's worth, plus most places will also take their rewards programs as its your movie pass is basically a prepaid card for 30 minutes. And in regards to AMC, they are teaming with MoviePass in a few markets for a test run on an AMC movie pass and I know they were looking to do it with two tiers the $30 for regular movies and then a $45 tier for imax and 3d.

I don't go to the movies alot but interesting how many theaters honor it near me The theaters don't technically have to honor it. It is technically a Discover card so basically any theater that takes Discover you can go to. I've heard some theaters won't accept it but its very rare and has never happened to me and I go to about ten different theaters in the Kansas City metro area.

We have a cinema chain called Cineworld and they have a card that's £17 (ish) a month that covers the price of a non 3D ticket. With 3D/IMAX you only pay the excess. After a year 3D movies become covered by the monthly fee so all u really pay for is IMAX.
As a movie buff I use it loads, it's given me a chance to see movies I never usually would. 1 Saturday pretty much covers the monthly fee

I want to say thanks for mentioning this. I signed up on the 8th and it's working perfectly for me. I've seen Get Hard, Home, & Insurgent so far. I'm planning on seeing Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Furious 7, Cinderella, & Unfriended within the next week.
I've been checking out movies that are coming out within the next year and I saw Star Wars Episode 7 comes out this year. I've never seen any of the Star Wars films. I want to see all of them before watching this new one. I've heard there are different ways to watch the series instead of watching them by the years they came out. Is there a certain order that I should watch them? Also, I've heard there are different versions of the same films. Is there a certain version I should watch? Are there any sets that are recommended to buy?

I bumped this thread as well to say I'll be seeing my first movie pass movie today, and with everything that's happening to me so far, THIS is the gift I needed
