Last night on Impact Sanada was missing from the group, Storm basically said that he was kicked out. Does this mean that Great Muta won back custody of him

Muto said "OK, that's enough of that bullshit. Return Sanada back. NOW!!".
Sanada went from someone who was rising above the quagmire that is the X Division to a knockoff butt slave Muta. Sanada went from the heir apparent who was going to take the torch from Muto and become the ace of Wrestle-1 to losing his spot to KAI.

TNA somehow always manages to mess up their talent exchange stuff.

I'm surprised it took this long for Sanada to get out. They had done jack all with him since Bound for Glory.

as I said with the Okada situation, this is like sending your kid to study abroad for a semester and finding out that all they did was get drunk on the beach the whole time.

Honestly, must every Japanese wrestler who comes to America become a freakin' mist spewing ninja? Is it any wonder why no guys from New Japan, NOAH, Dragon Gate or other promotions there think about coming to WWE or TNA? 'Cause they know what's gonna happen to them once they do.
It's 2015 America, try and catch up with rest of the world for once and quit relying on stereotypes.

Five years from now who's the bigger star Sanada or the TNA brand?

You know, Sanada was the only good part of a group that rivaled Serotonin in suckiness. Now it's Manik, a jobber. Abyss who's far past his prime and can't even walk without becoming winded. Khoya, that's all I gotta say, and Storm who's lost all momentum he once had.

So James Storm has to pay alimony to Mutoh or they're going to act as if nothing happened?

Or in this case, molested in a shed in the backwoods of Tennessee. In the end it worked out for the best. Okada learned a valuable lesson that day. "I better improve fast or I could end up slumming it with these guys permanently!"

Sanada was a mess in TNA. At one point, Sanada's vignettes were not only the best part of Impact, but were oddly placed in the insanity and idiocy of the product. In one show, you had both a Sanada training vignette and Mr. Anderson invading Sam Shaw's home. It was like those vignettes were made by someone outside of TNA altogether with how different in tone they were.
I think ever since Okada, talent sent to you should be treated respectfully and that they might be potential mega stars. Years ago, if you told me that Samoa Joe's lackey was going to be one of the biggest stars in New Japan, and even the world, I wouldn't have believed it.

Years ago, if you told me that Samoa Joe's lackey was going to be one of the biggest stars in New Japan, and even the world, I wouldn't have believed it. The big problem for that theory, though, is that for a major North American promotion like WWE or TNA, the very nature of the excursion system in Japan makes that a fool's game. Okada, No Limit, and now Sanada are all great talents, and Okada became a huge star in Japan, Sanada's likely to be WRESTLE-1's ace...and Naito and Yujiro were also there. In theory, it's a bad move and LOLTNA-worthy for them to waste talent like that. In practice though: the excursion system means that you're going to get an up and coming prospect in Japan (meaning they're usually not a big enough star to mean something if they come to America), they're going to be on the roster primarily to learn your style and become better- and by the excursion system, you've only got them for a year and after that, they're going to leave the company to return to Japan and be a big star there regardless of how they're booked in your promotion. With those things in mind, it's just not a shrewd decision on WWE or TNA's side to give a huge push to someone they receive on an excursion, knowing they'll only have them for about a year and after that they're leaving anyway- and if they DON'T lose them after a year, it's usually places like WWE where Funaki or Yoshi Tatsu chose to sign with WWE long-term instead of returning to Japan, which is worse on the side of the Japanese promotion.

Watch what'll happen once he leaves NXT and gets to the main roster. I bet you a car his entrance video will include the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

You better get ready buy dude a Hot Wheels because no way in Hell WWE will include images of Pearl Harbor especially the flack they got for Hirohito. Itami will debut as is which in terms will piss folks off because current Itami is too dry of a character to stand out.

Sanada though did sign a TNA contract during what was suppose to be just a temporary excursion. How long that contract was for is up in the air since it seems like TNA renews people's contracts every couple of months. When Sanada made that decision, Muto moved on making KAI his ace and Muto pinned Sanada in the match that was suppose to pass the torch. I don't know where Sanada is because he's not been on any Wrestle-1 cards since last year.

Considering they put images of Putin in Rusev's tron and dedicated matches to him a week after Russia attacked Ukraine last year, as well as the idiotic angle with Hassan the day of The London Bombings, should we really be surprised if WWE does that at all? Someway or another they play him up as an evil foreigner here to destroy the US. Lest we forget TNA's brilliant decision to have Bashir's first theme have the sound of a plane crashing in the background.
