Fun episode, lots of harsh truth spoken throughout.
I find myself really annoyed by Lady Martell, she has no case or right to revenge and will obviously f*** everything up.
And Brienne is going to f*** things up.
Also, Dany's potential glorious downfall has begun! I liked that Drogon stopped by at the end to remind her no one cares about her Mideast War metaphor plot.
Like where this season is going.

She was really Doran's only ally in AFFC, and I don't see the point in making her all revenge happy, when the Sand Snakes already have that gimmick locked down.

You'd think I'd identify with Brienne more. We're both tall, awkward, and are always being rejected by girls.
Some really good scene in this one. Kevan telling off Cersei and Ser Barristan giving Dany the truth about Aerys in particular.

I like that Cersei keeps calling Margaery a whore even though she's the person who's had multiple affairs throughout the series.
'Tis how the art of projection works.

Welp, Dany sure pulled a Stannis there. Seriously, what the Hell was that? "I'll teach you to respect a man's right to a fair trial by having you publicly executed without trial". What did she THINK was going to happen?! Dany, honey, I keep trying to defend you but you're making it increasingly hard. Overall, still a setup episode but I liked it better than the first one, probably because there was less North/Wall stuff, which I don't care much about and more Arya, Tyrion, Brienne and Daenery stuff, which I very much care about. {Spoiler}Also, with Bronn, Face-changey-guy-whose-name-I-can-never-remember-for-some-reason and Drogon, is this the "comeback" special or what?
Also also, I hope Jaime's bullshit doesn't get Bronn killed or else I will have no choice but to use ancient forbidden rituals to enter the GoT universe and kill him myself.

Im just going to put this in spoilers {Spoiler}{Spoiler} I didnt like the changes they did.
Was there any reason for Briane to meet Sansa just to have her rejected again? Besides maybe setting up an attempted kidnapping of Sansa. Which I wouldnt like at all.
Why is Jamie now back in Cersei corner one of my fav parts of the book was Jamie stepping out from behind her and getting a better sense of right and wrong. But nope I guess the show is going with all Lanisters besides Tyrion are bad and you should hate all of them.
Why change how Jon becomes Lord Commander? Granted I did like Sam, burning Janos and his speech for Snow.
And Bronn, love the character but why bring him back to do a stupid, stupid espionage sub plot? Let him ride off into the sunset with his new wife her bastard son and let him kill his sister in laws husband.

A Feast for Crows Abridged
Brienne: I'm looking for a highborn maid of three-and-ten. She has blue eyes and auburn hair.
Pod: Oh, there she is.

What did she THINK was going to happen?! To be fair, there was no need for a trial since the guy did admit to doing it. It's like a guilty plea means no damn trial.

I've enjoyed the past few episodes so far and what's interesting to me is how my stance on both Daenerys and Jon Snow has slowly been switching.
Ar first I liked Daenerys, she got put in shitty situation but had a take what I want attitude, gained an army and was poised to be a force moving forward. While she still is a force, she's spent far too much time farting around and I've been steadily losing interest in her story.
Now with Jon, he seemed alright at first but he came across as naive and sulky but near the ending of the last season and these first few episodes he has starting to show that he might be the most fitting leader of all the characters in the show but the irony is that he doesn't seem to want the role.
But I guess maybe one the themes of the series is that the most competent people for the job either don't want it or end up dead.

New theory re: Bronn and combining book plots. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Bronn is going to die in Dorne. Now that he's single, Ellaria is going to seduce him to the role played by Arys Oakheart, and he's going to die in the Myrcella kidnapping plot.

Littlefinger's accent appears to have stabilized a little bit, at least.

Littlefinger's accent appears to have stabilized a little bit, at least. He was in a 3 part mini-series in Ireland about one of our more controversial Taoiseachs and he's definitely having some hangover from playing that role.
