TNA can't afford 2015 Taz.
And now, some poor schmuck has to sit next to Josh in the Impact Closet and fill the yambag/Yu-yi-gi-TAME void.

he'll only moonsault off Mathews every time he's on screen So a typical Wednesday afternoon then? Angle: Watch this! (climbs on Josh's shoulders) Matthews: Kurt, I'm an announcer, knock it off! Angle: Shut up, turnbuckle! (moonsaults through a cardboard cutout of Don West)

So the only way to get rid of an infestation of Taz is to stop paying him. Guess the success of his podcast put him the position to tell TNA go f*** themselves. Josh is going to be sad calling Impact from his pillow fort without his play date, Taz.

Bring back Don West, bring back Tenay. Ah f*** it, might as well bring back Ed Ferrara too, the way TNA is going you should have the same commentary team for the TNA's last show as there was for their first

There's like 5,000 wrestler podcasts now (only number bigger than that is the number of podcasts by comedians). Did I miss something? Is Tazz the Marc Meron of wrestler podcast? Hito, I'm Tazzfused!

Nuclear heat between Josh and Taz, plus they've both unfollowed each other on Twitter, thats when you know shits going down. (Hi noob here) Waiting for Josh to go HAM on the vertically challenged on Twitter. "Short people got no reason to live."

It'd be kind of hilarious to go back in time and show ECW fans with Taz in full "f*** the world" mode him sending out smileyfaces. Oh well.
I am sure WWE will probably at the least get him on some Network stuff, maybe a legends contract and action figure.

Given TNA's budget the new color commenter will be Teddy Ruxpin. Put a cassette recording of Taz commentary in his tape deck. No one will know the difference.

If Taz lets them.

On tonight's Impact, Josh said that Taz was on "special assignment." Apparently that assignment is to earn money.

Josh saying Taz was on "special assignment" was so TNA. Instead of not acknowledging the situation with Taz and just letting Josh say he's going solo, they made it worst with the whole special assignment thing.

Nothing against Tazz, but I was never that fond of him as an announcer even in WWE. His is definitely one paycheck I could think of better uses for-but this is TNA, so...

Here's some footnotes from his podcast where he explains his departure:
Tazz asked for his release from his contract which was supposed to run through the Summer.
No repercussions for no showing the Impact Voice over work in Nashville
His checks for work done previously were very late and it was a bad situation.
Said this is a business, this is how he makes a living, and he has to worry about his family, this is how he pays his bills.
Emphasises this is a business despite what others may think. He says he is no different than anyone else who gets paid for providing a service.
Company understood why he no showed the voiceover work in Nashville. Says he isn't going to go into their issues.
Refuses to bash TNA.
Defends Dave Meltzer and PWInsider over copy and paste sites over the Josh Matthews stories about him leaving over Josh.
Admits to having a fallout with Josh Matthews. Says what does him not liking someone have to do with him leaving TNA.
Says speculation was his fault for not coming out earlier and clearing the air.
Said he didn't watch TNA this week due to the events that recently transpired and needed a break but he will watch and review in the future.
He said he was looking to leave in the Summer when his contract expired. TNA wanted him to stay.
His pay was very late and felt like he did a service and wasn't paid for those services yet. Gave them a notice that he wasn't going to Nashville to do voice over work but was paid a few days after he said he wasn't going to Nashville for the voice over work. Said he heard it was a cash flow issue that he isn't sure about.
Has a deal that is almost done that will give him a podcast show that runs 5 days in a week.
