I think the reason why time has seemingly flown by so fast in the last 8 years is because the look of the WWE product has not changed to a vast degree. 2015 still looks like 2008.
Now look at the decades that spanned from the Federation Years, to The New Generation, to The Attitude Era-Ruthless Aggression Era and you'll see dramatic changes in the atheistic of the WWE product and the wrestling landscape as a whole.

I remember the brand split in dickety dickety. We had to say dickety because the kaiser took away our two. ... DICKETY DICKETY? Oh man! Why me?

Wanna feel old AND disappointed? I was playing HCTP yesterday. After a few minutes it hit me that the game is 12 years old and still unmatched.

When watching as a kid, 1991 to say 2000 seemed like a f***ing eternity, it seemed like about 10 generations of difference, but 2002 to 2015 seems to have flown, I think its because when your older and you have a job and a life, things fly by. As a kid at school, everything is in slow motion. 5 years in high school seemed a life time, 5 years of adult like 2010-2015 seems like 2 seconds Holy crap I've said this exact same thing to people on many occasions. For some reason the 90s felt like an entire lifetime but ever since the new millennium I feel like time has gone by insanely fast. 1995 to 2005 seems like a world of difference but 2005 to 2015 has happened in the blink of an eye.

Yeah, all over our tvs in 1994-1996 were Diesel, HBK, Bret Hart, Taker... all over our tvs in 2004-2006 were Lesnar, Cena, Orton, Triple H... all over our tvs 2014-now are Lesnar, Cena, Orton, Triple H... Seriously, there was a big difference between the mid 90s-mid 00s as far as on-camera talent went, but we currently have about 2 dozen faces on our screens regularly who were around 10 years ago.

That's because WWE wasn't the only show in town before 2001. Had it still been, we would see a very different story over the last decade or so.

I think I maintain my youth by constantly forgetting that the year 1990 wasn't ten years ago. By default my brain always thinks it's the year 2000.

See this picture? See it? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} That film came out the day Bo Dallas was born. I felt old when I realized I was a few weeks older than Bray Wyatt. This doesn't help

Not WWE related, but..... Kenan Thompson has been a cast member of SNL for 12 years. He is the longest running current cast member. That's right, the kid from All That, Heavyweights and Good Burger, a freaking Mighty Duck, is the elder statesman of Saturdy Night Live. No love for Kenan & Kel?

In some ways, I still think "Shut Your Mouth" was better, because you could do aerial attacks from the top of the Smackdown set, as well as the KOTR set.

I could never get the Swanton to hit because Jeff would always overshoot his target.

Plus you could unlock the winter outside set and have a snowball fight. And you could take the subway around town.

The BEST WWE game is now 15 years old. No other game even comes close to WWF No Mercy. Every one before and after either plays horribly, is glitchy, has wonky controls and/or has loading screens that take up 1/3rd to 1/2 of your play time.

The first thing that truly made me feel old as a wrestling fan was finding out that I'm older than all three members of The Shield.
