Man, this angle had so much heat back in 2014 and WWE just didn't let it have it's natural progression to Sandow beating the shit out of Miz for a few minutes at WrestleMania. It's so bizarre, because this angle was one of the best things going in the company for months on end, and it seemed to be the one thing WWE planned for long-term that really worked as it was supposed to. But now, it just seems like they didn't think the end game. They managed to make Mizdow into the most sympathetic guy on the roster, and made Miz into a colossal jerk, but they never thought about how Mizdow was going operate after the split. The comment I highlighted in bold sums up the company perfectly. Just look at the amount of tag teams they have broken up in the past year and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing with either individual. There seems to be absolutely no forward planning when it comes to things lower down on the card.

This sounds like some 1999-2000 WCW stuff.

They stuff undercards of PPVs with matches between two guys who can't put on clinics, that always have zero build or heat or purpose. There is literally zero reason, even considering in-ring ability, that justifies this.

Well, there goes my idea of Big E vs. The Big Show for the title of "Big". Would've been a great way to show off the power of Big E, as well as write off one Local Man.
Ah, the road not taken...

Why do I get the feeling Mizdow's going to win, and this will be the excuse to write Miz off so he films that Christmas movie with Paige?

Finishing out a feud seems to be a constant bugbear of WWE booking in recent years.

Yeah, now that I think about it, the only feud I can really remember that had a satisfying conclusion, especially for the faces, is Shield vs. Evolution, and had Batista not been destined for movie roles and Seth not took a chair to Roman and Dean's back, that feud might have dragged on as well.

I was thinking Bryan winning the world title at WM30... But there were just so many factors that led to that result that if they weren't there, then it wouldn't have come close to happening. Also, the actual Bryan v Authority feud was still kind of simmering along as it was implied real thick that Stephanie was siccing Kane on Bryan with the intent of injuring him so he'd have to vacate the title or lose it in a future defense... Probably could have played into the proposed Lesnar match at SummerSlam, where Bryan is just so worn down that he gets absolutely murked by Lesnar.

No faith in Big T to win it back? With interference from Big E so they become the team of Big E.T.

I think The Miz will win after Summer turns on Mizdow.

The feud is already dead. They held off on the inevitable "Sandow beats the shit out of Miz" payoff too long, and Sandow is already cooling off because the novelty of the joke has worn off.
