And when Terminator: Genysis is out...Archie vs. Terminator, right?
At least their Mega Man comics are good. Sonic comics I'd have to check on sometime.

I like how the shark on the comic cover clearly resembles the DVD cover for Jaws

Question-are the Archie comics still like they've always been as far as the setting?
I mean this plot is obviously based on a present day film, but like do they have cell phones and stuff now and just the same classic artwork?

What's Next? The Riverdale Human Centipede? Although if one really wanted to see that, I'm sure there is a dark corner of the Internet where some fan artist had made that gruesome image a reality.

Archie Meets The Punisher was pretty good, all things considering. I guess I'd give this a shot.

Remember, Riverdale has its own zombie apocalypse story, Afterlife with Archie, and it's told in a straightforward manner. And it's one of the best comics ever.

This looks cool and all, but part of me misses the unironically wholesome Archie who only had to worry about baby mama drama and paying his soda tab.
Maybe the weird crossovers will Kickstart something of an MLP effect where a portion of the newer fans get curious about the main or earlier Archie material, who knows?

They still sell main Archie universe stuff. It's usually at the supermarket checkout

Over the last 2 years Archie has come out with some great comics. Afterlife with Archie is great, sucks it suffers from lots of delays. The new Sabrina Horror series is fun, again horrible delays. And Archie vs Predator issue 1 was neat.

The Archieverse sounds like my personal interpretation of hell-being trapped in high school for eternity.

I'm pretty sure Archie mainly gets by via Sonic and Megaman nowadays since I still have never actually met anyone that reads, well, Archie, but kudos to them so long as they can make it not too blatantly "LOOK AT HOW RELEVANT WE ARE!"
