I'd like another Star Wars: Republic Commando type game, please.

Looks amazing, though I don't like the lack of an actual campaign one bit.

I really want this to be amazing as I loved the first two Battlefront games, but I can't help to fell EA will find some way to screw this up.

Some talk of nothing from the prequel era I guess this confirms that Disney's ignoring the prequels going forward.

I've been waiting for this game since Battlefront 2 but, the lack of a single player campaign sours me somewhat on it.
I enjoyed the single campaigns in the other Battlefronts, they were a lot of fun and I tend to suck at shooters on multiplayer. Especially if the game has piss poor match making and keeps shafting new, inexperienced users with people who have like 70 hours of gameplay under their belts. I'm not really a huge multiplayer fan in general to be honest.

Crackerjack name, dickheads.
Not even having a subtitle is just moronic. The game looks promising, and will most likely be excellent, but that fashion of naming (Rocky Balboa, Fast and Furious, Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), etc) annoys the hell out of me.

The game looks incredible even if there's only 4 maps known so far. Let them get the game right first, then the next one can have more bells and whistles.
Lack of prequel stuff and campaign doesn't bother me too much. Space battles I can take or leave because I thought they were kinda wonky in Battlefront II. Though I will miss the whole "transition from ground to space seamlessly" thing the old Battlefront III tech demo had. That was really cool-looking.

I wasn't a huge fan of the space battles in Battlefront 2. It kind of sucks that the campaign mode won't be available for single player. Some of us like to play games on our own.

So when are we gonna get news on the new Star Wars game from BioWare?

Is Galactic Conquest still in the game? Because really, forget the Campaign silliness. It's all about the combat. And the turn-based strategy that turned into fighting battles up-close was a cool setup.

Some talk of nothing from the prequel era I actually enjoyed the Clones vs. Droids battles from the Battlefront games more than Rebel Alliance vs. the Empire, especially with how diverse the Droid army was in the second game (Droidekas and Magna Guards). Yeah, those movies sucked the big one as a collective, but you can only blow up the Death Star so many times. Also, lack of single player campaign sucks.

I don't really play online on my xbox, so the fact that there is no campaign annoys me. Im glad that they haven't just turned into in to an online multiplayer game so I can at least play it by myself

I played the absolute hell out of Battlefront at the time and then Battlefront II in turn. I've been looking forward to this one a lot. The trailer looked great but I couldn't get too excited as it's not in-game play. Still, it was nice to see it and get more info come out. But the news hasn't been good. No singleplayer campaign or story type, not a deal breaker but a shame. I'd say the same for the space combat, a bigger shame as it added variety but I'll live. I'm very much down though on the complete lack of any prequel stuff. It sounds like this is much more of a developmental situation that trying to airbrush the prequels, but it's a severe loss as you lose out on some cool settings, vehicles and types. BF2 particularly did some great stuff with their prequel maps. Used to love the Kamino, Mustafar and Kashyyyk levels. I'm also disappointed to hear it's 40 units per game max (20 vs 20) rather than the 64 units DICE managed for Battlefield. Four planet settings (three planets and a moon, heh) with what's sounding like 2 or occasionally 3 levels each. Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, Sullust. There's quality over quantity, and then slimming down to the bare bones just a little too much. Being EA there's likely to be DLC out the wazoo which kinda grates but at least would add content. Still. This has now gone from a pre-order for me to a wait for the reviews, patches and early DLC to see. Is Galactic Conquest still in the game? According to devs on Reddit, no.
