What was with that Rock shirt in early 2003 when he first started his Hollywood heel run, like 'HIT IT STRONG' on the front and 'HIT IT FAST' on the back. I don't even remember him ever saying that on TV.

I can't imagine this one being terribly popular. I had that shirt! It was a different time.

I can't imagine the 'blood from a rattlesnake' or the one that looked like you were wearing Austin's vest and gold chain made him rich.

This one is pretty bad. I think it's a testament to how over Austin and Rock were that they could survive these terrible shirt designs.

Anyway, did they actually ever sell that Rock shirt that just had a letter "R" on it? Because I can't see that being a great seller. what about the one that was just "R" on the front Dude is protecting the world from devastation and still can't sell merch. He's also uniting all peoples within his nation (of domination).

I can't imagine this one being terribly popular. I knew someone who wore this shirt all the time in the late 90s/early 2000s. I found it more confusing than funny.

We could start listing all the Ric Flair shirts that flopped, but we do have a thread limit

Austin's left arm looks twice as large as his right and about the same size as his waist. It's like someone designed a Frankenstein's wrestler using one of the arms from Scott Steiner.

You know, Rock has had horrible shirts, terrible catch-phrases, bad songs...yet he's as popular as ever.

Off topic, but... VA-CHYNA: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK If we are going to derail this thread into horrible shirts in general, there's only one that can compare to VaChyna.

From a design perspective, I actually like this. It's just that "SOLDIER" and "PUSH THE PACE" are stupid and have nothing to do with anything.

The thing about that Austin shirt is that I remember Drew Barrymore wearing it in one of the Charlies Angels movies.

I remember seeing this when it was in the WWE shop and just thinking "So that's it? not going to put actual effort into a design then? Flag bull, gotcha" That's probably one of the best designed Rock shirt ever made... also his terrible catchphrases remind me when he tried to get popcorn fart over... I was positive they were going to slap that on a shirt at some point... Don't forget this one... I actually saw someone wearing a shirt like this in public... I think it was blue though... but the design was similar
