I've been a bit of a defender for Kane recently, with all the recent negativity shown towards him on here. I would say, yes, right now he's not great, but...
Now though, with this Seth angle? Knocking it out the park. He brings a level of humour not often seen by big guys (that usually revolves around stupid dancing and "love machine" gimmicks) and both he and Seth are unexpected but perfect foils for each other.
So yes, I am enjoying Kane in 2015.

Kane is always on the edge of being awesome or awful. Just depends on how much of a monster he's allowed to be.

I still think he's exceptionally boring and sucks the life out of everything he's involved in, but that's just me. At least he's not feuding with THE BIG DOG (yet).

I think Kane has been good... for Kane. Mind you, Team Hell No nonwithstanding, that's an astonishingly low bar to meet.

I don't give a shit about anything with him by default, and if say Luke Harper were in his place, it would be MUCH more interesting.

^ I like Kane, but I don't understand why they can't have a guy like Harper in his place. Oh well.

Kane's in a spot where his presence is actively, if not maliciously, taking away from younger talent who desperately need TV time.
I hope he understands that he's hurting new talent by simply being there.

Kane tells a better story in the ring than many of the people who he is supposedly 'keeping down'. I think of someone like Luke Harper and severely doubt he would be as entertaining in the ring with Seth Rollins.
I simply do not get the Kane hate.

Kane has a history of being able to spin crap into gold. It may be taking him a bit longer this time, but it looks as though that history will repeat itself.

And clearly it doesn't matter to Vince unless his talent actively tells him that his dictation sucks to his face. So as a 20+ year veteran, Kane should be telling the boss it's time to unclench and let things go.

What are some examples of Kane's amazing in-ring storytelling ability? This guy has been in the company for 2 decades and I can't think of a single outstanding 1-on-1 match he's had through that entire time, he's had some good ones but never has he had a match where I've thought 'wow Kane really stole the show here'. I realise this is all about opinions, I'm just genuinely interested to see some examples of him telling a great story in the ring.

Honestly, the moment they give him actually something to work with, Kane does well with it.
It's just when they have him in those weird holding patterns they tend to put him in that he struggles.
Every time they've given him something, even some of the worst storylines imaginable, he's always held up his end of the bargain regardless of how it goes down overall.

Well, even though this is pointless as you have already made your mind up about Kane, but did you see his match with Rollins last Raw ? Go on and tell me one of the guys Kane is allegedly holding down could have told as good a story in the ring as that.

Hence why people get so tired of him.

He didn't even do anything...hell Steiner and Test told that story when both sucked ass in 2003.
