If wrestling has taught me anything, he will lose in the first round. Well, I suppose if gravity can forget him, maybe the tournament can forget he's already advanced in the first round.

We know Sheamus isn't winning because Dolph will cost him the match against Neville. R-Truth? Mabel ruined it for the hip-hop gimmick many years ago. Barrett would be awesome and he needs it more than Neville. Neville has been on Raw for maybe a month and they are going to give him the KOR? Don't think so. I know he is crazy over right now but as someone said earlier let him feud with Barrett over it.

I'm thinking Barrett. They are taking the Bad News thing away from him because it was popular which the WWE can't tolerate. He becomes King Barrett and ditches the BNB thing altogether. It flops and no one on WWE will understand why so Barrett will be punished for it Yeah. With Neville, King of the Ring will be a launching pad for him. With Barrett, 3-6 months from now he'll be jobbing to every Face midcarder and main eventer under the sun and this will be another wasted King of the Ring. I think Booker and Brock Lesnar were the last people to have been elevated by winning the king of the ring.

Makes the most sense to give it to Barrett so he can have a gimmick that works for the longterm. "I'm afraid I've got some Bad News" is cute for a few seconds, but otherwise he's a very bland character. Give him an actual gimmick/character to embody that he can use as a vehicle for being a heel and it'll likely produce better results. BNB has been stale forever. Also, Neville definitely doesn't need the crown anyway. He's already on fire as is. He should bring in Regal as a former King and Adviser. And build a kingdom. Maybe Layla can be his queen. At any rate, Sheamus is winning it. Sheamus won it last time. Why would he win it twice in a row? Again, like Neville, they're two fresh characters with momentum already. Barrett needs it most. Layla is almost 38 and has been there nearly a decade. I'm very cool with never seeing her on WWE TV again. Plenty of divas to showcase on TV other than her.

When Neville came out I noticed "hey, his gear matches the KotR motif of Purple and other colors". Almost like he's designed specifically for this gimmick.

Just what he needs, another friggin' nickname. ("The Man That Gravity Forgot, The New Sensation, The 2015 King Of The Ring, Not Mighty Mouse" Adrian Neville)

I do not care how old Layla is, she fits in to a royal European gimmick better than anyone. Paige is the only other one I can see doing that and she doesn't need to be a heel.

When was the last time a face won the KOTR?

When was the last time I face won the KOTR? Edge back in 2001, I believe. If he wasn't face then, winning King Of The Ring was an important part of turning him face.

When was the last time I face won the KOTR? Edge in 2001, and even that one is dubious because the Edge and Christian, Rhyno, and Angle alliance were all heels going into the tournament, with all but Rhyno emerging as faces in the coming weeks. Shamrock in 98 would be last time a tenured babyface won the KotR.

I'm fine with any of them other than Ziggler, honestly.

yeah i figure barrett or neville as well coming out on top. ziggler figures this "costing the other guy the match" thing out in his next try for sheamus/neville to have neville advance and truth isn;t winning against barrett.
but i'm going to say that barret somehow gets the win over neville seeing how he just lost to neville at the PPV to even things up at 1 win each so they can feud for a bit. neville beating barrett again doesn;t make too much sense at this point.

Neville or Barrett would be the way to go, just since I figure Sheamus is going to get knocked out of the running by Dolph or anyone else he's started trouble with.

When was the last time a face won the KOTR? Edge I think. I forget if Booker was a face when he won but he was definitely a heel afterwards.

He then went on a big losing streak.

So Sheamus will lose thanks to Ziggler, and this means Neville needs to face a heel in the final.
So Barret or Neville.
YES!

Silly question but this will be on the On Demand section as I won't be able to watch it live tonight. It isn't one of those live only deals?

I'm thinking Barrett too. If not him, Sheamus becomes a two-time winner and they hopefully don't f*** it up this time.
