PFT's Mike Florio's "current prediction" is that contract-year QB Russell Wilson won't be with the Seahawks in 2016.
The Seahawks are offering Wilson a deal in the Cam Newton range, while Wilson wants to be the league's highest-paid player.

I understand he probably is pissed that he was underpaid for so long but being paid more than Rodgers? I don't agree with it...

Yeah, Rodgers should be the highest paid player in the league. Luck might beat him out, but that would be because no team is more dependent on their QB for any measure of success than the Colts. On simple merits and current abilities, Rodgers should still beat out Luck (and I am a Colts fan saying this). I don't see the Seahawks budging on this one. Cam Newton is getting paid a ton of money, so getting paid like him is still really damned good. There are several things working against Wilson on this one: 1) The team is not that dependent on his success to be a contender. Any team with that defense will make the playoffs with a halfway competent QB and be a contender with a decent one. Hell, looking at the backup QBs in the league, the Seahawks could easily make the playoffs if they got Dan Orlovsky (who damned near cost the Colts the chance to draft Luck by actually WINNING games during the busted 2011 season) from the Lions and be a legit contender if they got Mike Glennon from the Bucs. 2) RG3 ruined the market for him. RG3 was fantastic his rookie season. Better than Wilson has ever been, to be honest. One injury screwed that up since he has not shown the ability to be a pure pocket passer when his mobility took a hit. Wilson has not shown that either, to be honest. Is he good? Yes, but his game is highly reliant on his scrambling ability. This is where Luck will earn that huge contract and Wilson, so far, has not. Luck can scramble really well too and then bowl you over when you go to tackle him, but he does not scramble that much. Instead, he gives his receivers more time and hits hard passes, frequently under pressure. Wilson just does not do that enough. He is accurate when he chooses to throw and did well in the playoffs when he was forced to make a couple of deep throws, but until he does that with more regularity the Seahawks, or any other team for that matter, will be reluctant to throw Rodgers-like money at him. 3) The Seahawks will be hard-pressed to afford more than they are offering him at this time. To be a contender, they have to spend a fortune on that defense. They just have to. The Colts will have similar problems very soon as well. These issues might even be why they drafted a few players that they did (hint: someone else may be paying TY Hilton big money next season instead of the Colts). Seattle has to prioritize and if Wilson won't budge to fit their budget then they can get someone cheaper and afford more talent to put around that cheaper option.

I think Luck is the best in the league, and I'm a Green Bay fan.

Retired QB Brett Favre believes he could still play in the NFL. Honestly there is probably a team or two that he could start for.

The government will not permit the Redskins to build a new stadium in DC(on the RFK site), as long as it keep the name. .

That's when Quarless took out a semi-automatic handgun — ID'd by police as a .45 caliber weapon — and fired two shots, one straight up into the sky. Why? When police later interviewed a woman in Quarless' car, she said he'd fired "in an attempt to emphasize his dominance and manhood."
