The only people questioning the science have been paid by Brady/the Patriots to say so along with the people gullible enough to believe them, like Tony Kornheiser. Real scientists and mathematicians without a financial incentive to say otherwise have all said the science was spot on. Yeah but what's the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Sciences say about it?

Am I the only one who thinks that there are no real winners in Deflategate, other than ESPN? I suspect that the Dolphins might be the winners if Brady misses 4 games and they lose them all (a very real possibility). That might be enough to get them the AFC East title.

Nah, the Dolphins will still find some way to screw it up. I would've said the Jets could've been a legitimate threat, even with their questionable QB, but Richardson's troubles make that more unlikely. Still, that defense should be pretty good.

Updating a previous item, Michael Floyd is only expected to miss around a month following Wednesday's left-hand injury.

That is honestly the team I'd be worried about if I was a fan of an AFC East team. Just some decent QB play and they'll be dangerous.

ESPN's Ed Werder reports the Cowboys' "frustration (is) building" over the absence of Darren McFadden (hamstrings).
Hell what did they expect with him. He is always hurt

Uh, you do know the Jaguars are in those four games, right? I'm not saying the Patriots are a lock to start 4-0 or anything like that, but the only way they lose to Jacksonville is if the players forget to show up at the stadium. And before we all prognosticate doom and gloom for the Patriots, let's remember they started the 2014 season 2-2 (including a shellacking at Kansas City) and didn't have a decent-looking win in those first four. I'd say all in all, things ended up pretty fine for them the rest of the way. Also, this goes to show how pathetic the Dolphins, Bills, and Jets truly are, that their only prayer of winning the division is if Tom Brady misses the first month of the season and the Patriots go winless during that stretch. Regardless of all the improvements those other three teams made in the off-season, they're still chasing the crown. Don't forget that the division runner-up last season finished three games back, which would have been five games back if the Patriots gave even the slightest of a s**t in week 17.

So an email from Brady among the documents in the NFLPA suit that says that he believes Manning has 1-2 years left while he has 7-8 years left. Only shows that whoever is sifting through these documents is desperate for something to be there.

Don't forget that the division runner-up last season finished three games back, which would have been five games back if the Patriots gave even the slightest of a s**t in week 17. I covered this already, but I will do so again. Jacksonville is not quite the lightweight that they have been over the last few years. If Brady plays against them, I don't see them beating the Patriots, but they have been steadily improving their defense and Bortles can give them a puncher's chance to win any game, especially against a team that let half of their defensive backfield fly away this past offseason. They can win that game if Brady doesn't play. Add into that the fact that two of those first four games are against teams that made the playoffs last year and the fourth game is against a team that beat them last year even with Brady and Revis playing. They very well could start 0-4. As far as dumping on the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills saying that their only chance of winning the division is if Brady misses a bunch of games, the same can be said of many teams in many divisions in the NFL: AFC South: If you expect any team other than the Colts to win the division, then you are counting on Andrew Luck getting hurt. AFC West: Even if Manning gets hurt, the Broncos could still win the division. NFC North: At this point I think that Rodgers could miss half of the season and still win the division. That will not be the case in a few years as Bridgewater gets better, but that day isn't today. NFC West: The only way that San Francisco or St. Louis wins the division is if Wilson gets hurt for the first time and if Palmer gets hurt once again.

When you've got that front 7, you've always got a shot. Add in Gurley on offense, and Foles at QB. St Louis has a shot. San Francisco, well, I'll be winning with them on Madden.

This story should have died when the NFL schedule came out.
Seriously, right now, the best stories in sports since the Women's World Cup ended are the Mets, Blue Jays, and Kyle Busch.
But NOPE we have heard about Goodell/Brady/suing/suspensions/etc. just as much in July as Jordan Speith and these guys.
It's comical how this story has gone on for.
I miss Paul Tagliabue era football when the game wasn't so oversaturated and overanalyzed.

On the November 29th edition of Sunday Night Football on NBC, Goodell will join Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth in the announce booth where he will give away the results to the 2015 Grey Cup game to prevent people from changing the channel.
