Ultimate Marvel, and rightfully so. There's a reason why Miles Morales is the only concept they're bringing over into the Mainstream Marvel Universe.
I mean, The Ultimates, man. What the hell was going on there?

Why did the Islanders put the killer from "I Know What You Did Last Summer" on their jerseys? HEY! That's clearly the Gorton's Fisherman. I know what you fished last summer.

Anything from the years 1999-2001 have aged poorly in my opinion. It has more to do with the fact that I finished high school in '99 and those first 3 years out of it weren't that great. Some stuff from that era is ok (Super Troopers, J&SB Strike Back, etc) but not everything holds up.

Most of it. There haven't been a lot of "timeless" forms of entertainment in that span.

I graduated in 93, and feel the same way-a lot of it had to do with big changes like getting a job and my best friend getting married-too much going on and I don't look back on that time fondly

Sonic Adventure. Last year I played it again for first time in several years and yep its aged poorly. Terrible in game camera, crap controls and not to mention its glitchy as hell. That and even the Sonic stages which are by far the best part of the game aren't very good due but I guess thats what happens when you are no longer 14.

Neither comic really had a distinctive voice like Ultimate Spider-Man or The Ultimates (for better or worst with the latter) because of the constantly rotating writers.

Donkey Kong Country 2 ...deep down, ya'll know I'm right. There's a crapload of cartoons and stuff that don't just fail to hold up, but I wonder how the hell I watched it. Especially with the little nitpicks I'd have with shows back in the day that I'd use as excuses not to watch them, the ones I DID watch I can't believe I watched.

ECW. A few years ago I went on a massive binge watching spree of ECW and honestly pretty much as whole product it isn't really that great. There are some good matches for sure but for every good match or angle there was seemly far more bad ones and production values might given it the whole underground punk vibe but today it all does is expose how poorly its aged.

What the hell was going on there? Mark Millar in general. I was about to call him the writing equivalent of Rob Liefeld, but then I remembered Chuck Austen. *shudder* A lot of comic character designs from that time don't hold up well, but this is the one that always comes to my mind first: Also, the trend of every video game having to be 3D whether it made sense or not, like 3D games based on 2D animated cartoons:

The first two SUM 41 albums. While i love Does this Look Infected and especially Chuck (dont really care much for the post-dave brownsound albums), those first two albums, though they have enjoyable moments ("In Too Deep" comes to mind), just sound too much like an "edgier" version of Good Charlotte.

The hook hand is maybe a little much, but lose that stupid shirt and the long hair, beard, and outfit are awesome.

The clumsy, trying-too-hard-to-be-progressive ways TV shows and movies would depict women, racial minorities, and LGBT people, and how it was blindingly obvious that these writers knew absolutely nothing about real-life women, racial minorities, and LGBT people.

It's kind of adorable in Ghostwriter. They were trying REALLY HARD!, and I kind of admired that, even if it came off as much a lot of the time.
