Wow, I play the game for an hour, I get an error, and it shuts off. I was enjoying it, too.

Are these errors on PC or console?
Just curious because if it's console I'll wait till they patch it (creed unity)

This game is harder than Bloodborne. I can't get a grip on the game play! I think I'm doing fine, but then I get hung up on a log or fence, can't dodge and get murdered by a single drowner. Then of course, half the time my save doesn't load from the "YOU ARE DEAD" screen. Question... What's the best or most available thing to make or eat for health?

Yeah, the movement controls make the entire thing feel off. I have gotten a bit motion sick at times because how it swings around. And that all makes combat harder than it needs to be.

I'm only a few hours in but I've been eating raw meat from wolves and such and hunting down ingredients for the Swallow potions. Combat and movement are definitely a little clunky but it feels better than the last game. Really digging it so far.

For the first time tonight I played for a chunk of time and it didn't feel like a chore. I finished the Bloody Baron quest line, and I thoroughly enjoyed eeverything that happened. The characters I met, the fact I didn't die 15 times on a wolf and a single drowner. It was actually awesome.
My only current complaint (for the time being), I just wish it saved every time I meditated. Because when I'm out exploring and get ambushed and die its very disheartening that I lose all my exploring process because I forgot to manually save every new place I find. Ive lost progress three times because of it. Oops.

Getting the hang of it much faster this time. They kept pretty much everything from II and streamlined it a bit.
Thank You whoever got them to drop dice. Second worst mini-game is history EVER! I am loving GWAR/QWARD/GWENT/QWERTY whatever the card game is called. It's awesome once you do some quests for cards.

Just started the game last night, it's one of those games where I find I'm immediately hooked. I loved the second as well. It does seem a little strange though, as I've heard of a LOT of people who seem to have a lot of difficulty getting the hang of it, whereas it comes pretty easily to me. I guess it's a trade-off, though, as those people are the ones who can play and enjoy Dark Souls games whereas I just can never get my footing on those games.
Am definitely glad I'm hooked on this, as I was starting to get worried. The last new game I played on Xbox One was Far Cry 4 and as much as I loved 3... for some reason, I just couldn't care about 4. But now that this game is out, I have something to occupy my time until Arkhman Knight.

Yeah, add me to the list of people who can't seem to get into the game.
My biggest gripe in the hour I've played is how wonky the controls are. The dude feels like he's ice skating when he moves around. It's worse when in combat.
I will try to give it a few more goes, as I REALLY want this game to be good (during the Mass Effect backlash, this company was one that people brought up time and time again as a "we authentically care about our gamers" company, so I wanted to support them.

As soon as I fxxxing compliment the game, it breaks.
After the Bloody Baron quest that I loved I was just doing some secondary quests and exploring. Aaaand... The game wouldn't let me manual save. Turns out the game also quit auto-saving.
So I just lost another hour or so of time. Fxxx this broken mess. I've had enough.

Strange. I am finding this game runs extremely well. Got it maxed out on PC and everything.
Had a couple crashes the first day and since then, 30 hours of basically flawless performance.

it's a known issue for the Xbox One that if you suspend your game it will goof up the saving. When you're done playing just exit the game and turn off the XBone.

Why release the game broken ?

This is the game I splashed out on a new graphics card for. And holy shitballs this game is so pretty it's unbelievable. Everything bar shadows and foliage distance is on max (I always turn motion blur and blur off on all games I play - makes me feel nauseous).

So, I'm doing the Family Matters quest right now and I'm having a problem - when I try to escort the Baron back to the castle with the baby-creature I can't seem to make it past the wraiths that attack and always die in the second wave. Any tips?

Any tips? Dodge like crazy.. I beat it when I somewhat learned the wraith's patterns.. They have a motion where they appear then immediately disappear. If you swing when theyre disappearing you won't hurt them and they will get you. If they don't do the immediate disappear, it will swing its lamp at you, dodge that, jump in and get a few swings then dodge out. Repeat & repeat & repeat& repeat. And don't get hung up on a rock or a log or a fence when dodging. That will be the end of you.
