Dixie: "Darlins we love our troops so much that I demanded that we don't show an episode of Impact on that day, the executives begged me to air an episode of Impact but I said no, the millions of people who watch Impact need to celebrate this 4th of July with their families not with Impact."

Destination America just wants more Americans out doing American things on Memorial Day weekend, like chasing Ghosts at a BBQ competition while getting drunk with Bigfoot and counting teeth with Billy Bob. TNA is too low brow for that.

It was a confusion in the schedule that people had. Think Destination America always meant that to be the old PPV. Destination X on June 12th will be two hours.

Oh.
...That still means the American audience won't see what is a major show by TNA standards. DA don't give no kind of a f***.

And now a word from the president of Destination America. "I hear that some of y'all are wondering what is up with Destination America's commitment with TNA Wrestling. Well I'm here to tell you everything is ok. We here at Destination America feel the best way to honor and celebrate Memorial Day is by going to parades. Drinking moonshine out watermelons. Lighting fireworks. Eating bbq. Chasing ghosts. Shooting at Bigfoots while drunk. Getting to 3rd base with Susie Pickler behind Old Man Johnson's barn. That's not time to watch wrasslin'. So we told Dixie that we are not going to air Impact that day so Americans can do something patriotic on one of the most American days of the year. Dixie mentioned that they got international obligations and Impact had to air. To which I said the hell with them foreigners. This is Destination America where America is the greatest American country in America. If we want to we'll make a show with hill folk wrestling ghost bears if you keep getting lippy, young lady. So we'll show Slammiversary to shut up TNA. Now go out there and get jiggy with it, America."

And now to give his expert analysis on this important matter we go to our local Bigfoot live and on location. Local Bigfoot how do you feel about TNA airing a rerun instead of a new episode of Impact on the long Memorial Day weekend? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} You said it all local Bigfoot

Well, I guess I have to apologize to both MTV and Spike TV as I kind of called them the worst channels to ever deal with wrestling because Destination America is the WORST CHANNEL TO EVER DEAL WITH WRESTLING. If I'm TNA, I am looking for any way to get the hell out of this deal pronto.

MTV2 you could say due to how they did WSX and LLUSA, but you can't even put Spike in the same breathe as worst stations that treated Wrestling considering all they did for TNA.

To be fair they didn't exactly do great by WWE or ECW. But still, TNA basically was given every chance Spike could give them and refused to do a thing with it, so it's kind of fitting they now have a network seemingly run by an alternate universe Dixie Carter.

On one hand, it really sucks for the talent that Destination America seemingly has given up on TNA. On the other hand, it can't be that surprising considering DA probably knew f*** all about wrestling in general and figured TNA would give them Raw-like ratings.

DA is really speeding up the death of TNA. It's like they want to be the ones to tear off the bandage rather than let it fall off naturally.

I have never seen a more clear attitude of "Damn, we f***ed up", than Destination America's handling of TNA. Almost instant buyer's remorse. And this is from a network with stellar programming like Buying the Bayou and Mountain Monsters. Mountain Monsters is a great show, way better then Impact. and btw Bigfoot is real.

I don't understand DA's logic in this. It's not like they're pre-empting for another show they're still showing TNA but from a freaking year ago. There's no reason it can't be shown at any point over the course of the week. What an FU to the viewers that watch it.

I'm happy that now there are alternate TNA timelines. lol Like the comic books, the multiverse concept comes to TNA. I want worlds where Monty Brown is a multi-time TNA Champ and Pope is TNA's Rock.
