Ep 2 was WAY more tolerable. I kinda get lightweight Firefly vibes off this show at times. I'm glad they... {Spoiler}lost one of the Hawks, worst characters on the show by far. They could lose the professor at some point too and let it just be the kid. But yeah, Heatwave & Cold are still the best part, though the Atom/Cold scene was pretty good. All the Hawkcouple stuff and the Old/Young professor stuff was lame.

I kinda wanted them to gay Snart up, just because I liked the idea of Snart developing a thing for Barry. That's probably more because Miller is gay irl and it'd be nice to see a gay actor playing a gay role that isn't just a raving stereotype or a man whore. This show was super fun. It's cheesy as hell, knows that it is cheesy as hell and embraces that and just runs with it. A proper comic book series. For me it would depend on whether or not the story was interesting enough. I'm all for yaoi overtones if they feel like they add to a show, but I don't want them to make Snart gay/bi just for shipper bait.

{Spoiler}The line in question is a f***ing fantastic way of mentioning the two characters in question without blatantly outright saying their names. I liked it. I still do wonder if they'll get another person to replace dead Hawk.

I'm liking the show more as it finds itself, but I think the main issue right now is that we have yet to really feel the central conflict of the series.
Vandal Savage is probably the weakest character on the show because we haven't seen anything yet befitting of a world-conquering tyrant. I know it's still early days, but it's something that we need to see.
Similarly problematic is that we never saw the kind of relationship Rip had with his family, so it's hard to fully invest emotionally with his character. That said, Arthur Darvill has been good in the role.
I'm not too worried about the show because there is an immensely talented cast with likeable characters here (maybe save for Hawkman).

Wait wait wait.......Captain Cold is 45 years old?!? He could be real life Wentworth Miller is 43. I think in that scene he's probably supposed to be pretty young, but they wanted a child actor that could say the lines.

Why didn't they just cold gun Savage after they beat him up and then keep him frozen in the ship until Hawkgirl woke up to kill him?

The Top Gun reference was pretty funny.
The dynamic between Cold and the Atom is great, but then again Miller has great chemistry with pretty much anyone on that show. Loved the whole "spy" mission stuff with the Russian scientist.
Hawkgirl is still REALLY rough to watch. Her acting is just....well, not the strong point of the show, that's for sure.
Heatwave & Rip in the forest was super fun too. "You said I'd get to use my gun." They're doing a really solid job of mixing heroes, anti-heroes and villains in this show.
The father/son stuff for Firestorm is kinda blah, but not completely intolerable or anything.

Loved the Chuck shoutout with Ray saying that he always wanted to be a spy.
Ray and Snart are f***ing awesome together.

I can't decide if Cold or Stein are my favorites on this show, I repeatedly go back and forth.
I'm still a bit miffed about Rip telling a bunch of future Justice League members that they're irrelevant to the timeline. Especially Ray, isn't he a big freaking deal?

How was the latest episode? I tapped out after the first two. I can't say I blame you. The first two were really shaky with a lot of exposition needing to happen. Ep 3 & 4 are more like "heist of the week" type shows, so they're a little more fun. I'd say if you can make through ep 3 and you're still not digging it, then just give it up because I feel like 3 was more how the shows gonna play out.

Heatwave gets all the best lines which just makes him my favourite and I love how he momentarily shows he aint as dumb as others assume him to be when he correctly calls Rip getting betrayed.
"Better kill me now or else i'm gonna get all Rocky 4 on your ass".

Leonard Snart, as played by Wentworth Miller: "This wouldn't be my first prison break."
That magnificent bastard.
