Hes getting there, but Id rather see his first win be bigger and not on some random B PPV. If anyone was gonna go over Rollins tonight, it shoulda been Ambrose. Eh, not everyone needs to have their first title win be a "boyhood dream" moment. I think Reigns as champ would be better accepted if they just "got it out of the way" rather than trying to force it as a megastar moment on par with Hogan slamming Andre or whatever.

Eh, not everyone needs to have their first title win be a "boyhood dream" moment. I dont disagree with this sentiment, but for what they intend for Reigns, I think timing is the most important part. The crowd also proved tonight that many are still not ready to accept Reigns as he is currently.

Fans see right through that shit. WWE wants to "build him up" with clean wins over opponents no one has ever nor will ever care about (read: kane, big show, etc) the INSTANT, and I mean the INSTANT he gets put in a title feud he will once again be booed out of the building. Fans don't want that. WWE will be surprised by it too, and we'll hear news in the observer "current news indicate WWE is perturbed that Roman Reigns is failing to get over as expected" Then I'll facepalm. So I'll go ahead and facepalm now.

He's being booked as the ultimate choker. 5 title matches now already? And he lost all of them clean

All of the hardships will be worth it when he beats THE DEMON Kane.

Hey, look, another snarky topic about Roman Reigns by the same person in the last couple of days. Which he is entitled to make without people taking shots at him.

I'm glad he's finally winning people over, but he'll be the champ soon enough. For better or worse. Who did he win over? I did enjoy him tonight, I'm usually on the Reigns-hate train. We shall see if it was a one night thing. He seems to shift characterization weekly.

In a perfect world he never wins it, but in this world he'll win it next year at Wrestlemania.

Some of us suckers that avoid the anti-Reigns threads were tricked in here by the misleading thread title. I had to see if this thread was real with my own eyes.

Hes getting there, but Id rather see his first win be bigger and not on some random B PPV. This kind of attitude is why nothing interesting happens on smaller shows and the TV is less unpredictable.

And the thing is, that wasn't even Hogan's first title win. His first one pretty much came out of nowhere. I agree with you, there's way too much "EVERYTHING HAS TO BE THE BIGGEST MOST PERFECT MOMENT EVER" thinking sometimes, when it comes to putting the belt on people.

I fear for you all if you keep beating this poor dead horse. Zombie Horses are nothing to mess with. Just ask Matthew Broderick
