Kevin Owens isn't a star, he's a galaxy.
Because he's fat.

Sometimes I really wonder how the WWE would look nowadays if Russo had 100% creative control.

This shows how f***ing stupid Vince Russo is. Kevin Owens has more charisma that most of the roster, be it main or NXT. He has potential to be a mega-star, IF they book him right. That's a big "if", though.
But the main thing that needs to be said here is that it would be amazing to never hear from Vince Russo in any form for the rest of our lives.

Vince Russo is wrestling poison. If I were Kevin Owens I'd be feeling pretty pleased with myself right now.

From what I can see, and with my mathematical genius, Vince Russo is THE ONE who officially ruined the Tensai gimmick...

Hey Kevin Owens has been doing this for 15 years, so Russo should not be giving him advice.

"Sami Zayn can't draw" "Colt Cabana can't draw" "The Young Bucks can't draw" "Kevin Owens can't draw"
It's great seeing all my faves get success while all these out of touch, old men just sit at home blogging about how they could bring a new boom period if it weren't for all these lazy millennials trying to be wrestlers.

If I may (please note this is parody) Bro, I swear on the lives of my children that fat bastard will never be a star you wanna know why... it's simple they don't got Shannon Moore, Shane Helms, and Evan Karagias to carry his large frame. I don't even think he can reach an object on a pole. You know who is a star BULL f***ING DEMPSEY he looks like a friend of mine this friend shares a name with a state where the winds keep sweeping off the plains

Get lost you hack, Attitude Era ended 13 years ago and wrestling doesn't want or need you anymore. Get back to finishing off TNA.

I think Russo actually makes some good points though. The way Sami Zayn debuted, most people won't remember that since he's right back in NXT again now anyway. Zayn is really talented, but I just feel he's not going to get anywhere past mid-card status at best due to his look & how history shows what happens to all the NXT guys after they debut on the main roster. And with Steen, he's talented but he doesn't look like that big of a threat with the way he looks. He just doesn't have a menacing bad ass look about him that their trying to portray him as. I'm expecting the Cena/Owens match to be a good one though, but I wish these guys would debut in a different way than just coming out for a Cena challenge. If you keep doing the same setup for their debuts, than it makes it less special. And also the fact that they debut on Raw, only to go back down to the "minor leagues" right after probably doesn't make the casual fans think much of them.

Apparently Québécois are lumped together with Japanese wrestlers and luchadors on Vince Russo's Stephen Colbert-esque "Dead to Me" board (or at the very least, are "On Notice") Sometimes I really wonder how the WWE would look nowadays if Russo had 100% creative control. "Swerve! I was wrong. It was Earth all along!"

If Russo argued that wrestlers need to be booked strongly to make people care about them, that would be fine.
The problem is that Russo's attitude tends to be that wrestlers need to be booked to not wrestle, because no one cares about wrestling.
Russo looks at the wrestling business and genuinely doesn't understand why anyone watches that athletic stuff that takes place in the ring. His ideal wrestling company is one entirely consisting of non-wrestling segments and angles.

he said Kevin Owens is not a car. damn you autocorrect “I wrote a letter to my dad, I was going to write 'I really enjoyed being here', but I accidentally wrote 'rarely' instead of 'really'. But I wanted to use it, I didn't want to cross it out, so I wrote 'I rarely drive steamboats, Dad. Swerve, there's a lot of shit you don't know about me. Quit trying to act like I'm a steamboat operator.' I know this letter took a harsh turn right away.”

Don't tell Cornette this.
The fact they agree on something might make "Corny" want to slit his wrists.

Russo sucks. He just does - it's not even fun to bash the guy anymore. He's obviously desperate for money - likely having run out of everything he earned in WCW/WWE and is now just trolling for cash.

Don't tell Cornette this. The fact they agree on something might make "Corny" want to slit his wrists. I doubt Cornette and Russo agree on him. Cornette has said that Steen is a great promo and a good, hard worker in the ring. Cornette's problems with Steen stemmed from working with him. He felt Steen was hard to book and hard to coach and also that he should work harder outside the ring to improve his physique and look. Much of Cornette's problem with Steen was based on interaction with him. Cornette still saw the talent and worth in him. Same with Generico, though Cornette thought the comedy masked character was not best for business. Some people were quick to snipe at Cornette after that NXT special where Zayn won the title and Owens debuted, somehow indicating that they proved Cornette wrong that night. I believe the Young Bucks in particular took joy in calling out Cornette that night. However, if you consider that Zayn was playing a more serious unmasked character and that Steen was in noticeably better shape than when he worked with Cornette, you could argue that they were excelling after becoming more like Cornette wanted them to be.

I think Russo actually makes some good points though. No he doesn't, he never does. The sooner people stop saying this, the sooner all of us can just forget about that racist out-of-touch terminally-unsuccessful hack.
