Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth Everything's going fine until Biker-taker whips you into the turnbuckles. From there he does his mid-section strikes and begins a series of moves that, no matter what time in your match he begins, there's no reversals for until your life is completely depleted. Coincidentally, Bikertaker has a weird weakness where you can whip HIM into the turnbuckles into infinity. Just whip-strike-whip-strike-whip until he just collapses. That would be my other choice. I had a three-way with Taker and Brock in February. They beat the crap out of me, then just ran off to the stage area to beat up each other. Match took 45 minutes.

Cage matches in No Mercy are the main problem. "No one is stopping me from climbing this cage, but now I'm sleepy, better take 400 years"

I remember fighting a first blood match against somebody in No Mercy. I was using Kane or JBL or one of the bigger guys. For like ten minutes straight I destroyed them, hit them with twenty plus finishers and they were "losing it" several times. I hit them with ladders, steps, anything I could find and yet they wouldn't bleed. I went for a strong grapple and they reversed it and whilst I was down they grabbed the steps I left in the ring. Of course, they hit me in the face once and I started bleeding

Assuming this won't be the only reference to the Day of Reckoning set of games on the Gamecube, but the AI in the first one could be a gip. There'd be storyline matches that you're not supposed to win, yet you're not aware of that going in. Having a flawless AI decking you from all angles is an arse to contend with, really. The Flair/Big Show (depending on brand) match you have when you're signed is stomach-turning. Someone here said it was beatable, but not committing the faculties to that when it's not a must-win. Makes it all the more delicious when you do get to deck them later on, though. Still a quality game that holds up, mind. I think I was once able to luck out with Flair on a countout (unless there is no countouts in that match, in which case I'm misremembering) but there's no chance of me ever beating it on a proper finish.

Your name should be in some sort of hall of fame, frankly. Contrary to the op, there's been times when a game's wonkiness actually draws out a win. Due to the first Smackdown vs RAW's shitty submission mechanics, where they couldn't be broken by outside parties, I was able to spam a facelock on Vince McMahon whilst his partners in the handicap were helpless to stop it. It was built like the storyline's, and the game's, ultimate challenge, yet, (I think it was) WGTT just stood there whilst I transition-holded my way to Wrestlemania.

Any ladder match. I don't know if I was awful at the game or what, but positioning that ladder and trying to pull down that briefcase almost caused me to set fire to my Xbox a number of times.

Wrestlemania XIX: Revenge Mode, Parking Lot stage where you must swing from pole to pole. There are a few more stages, but this one sticks out to me the most.
Smackdown HCTP: Fighting anyone who has max strength stat. I could be wailing on them for the entire match and not be touched at all, but all they have to do is get 3 or 4 lucky reversals(particularly the elbow to guy reversal), and one body part will be in the red. This wouldn't be bad if it weren't for the fact that the pinning system in this game seems to be tied with the limb damage system. Then all they need to do is one move and they'll pin me 1-2-3. Bull. Shit.

Not infuriating for me, but years ago I used to babysit my mums friends kids. We played SmackDown 2 for the PS1 where we had a handicap match, and they were the Hardys. My choice? Paul Bearer. I think I just kept punching them until I got a finisher (a splash a la Mark Henry) and after about 5 splashes I got a KO victory. Gotta love randomly picked KO victories

Shit. When I had HCTP the first thing I did was create a wrestler. I got to the stats page and spread the points out evenly, thinking that was the best thing to do. First day of career mode, I'm walking backstage, I find Goldberg. We end up having a disagreement and he challenges me to a match. I'm ready for him, and keep hitting moves. He no sells everything. Then he goes kick, punch, spear, jackhammer, pinfall. I was totally gutted haha!

working so damn hard on RAW 2 to win the world title and defend it, and then im having a match on ppv defending the belt, when suddenly trish runs down to the ring and starts attacking my opponent, she finally leaves, and i hit my finisher to get the win, get the prompt "title defense successful" then suddenly raw begins and the limo pulls up and out walks world champion trish stratus...and then i never get another title match again. i hate that glitch so much!
also i forgot what smackdown game it was but i remember in season mode you had to face mick foley in a last man standing match and dammit, that match was like 6 hours ill never get back, no matter how many things you hit him with, how many finishers you do to him, that f***er still gets right up after 5...

I recall beating Test once with a small package as my only move used in something like 12 seconds, or when I was being Test and hit Al Snow or someone with a Big Boot or other strike at the beginning of the match and it knocked them out, leaving them pinnable.

I remember playing SmackDown! vs. RAW about a year ago. I was John Cena during the season mode. So, I made it to the Royal Rumble match. There were three wrestlers left: me, Batista, and HHH. F**king HHH eliminates me, then Batista eliminates him. So, yeah, I lost. McMahon and Angle are pissed at me, which, in turn, pissed me off. Berating me for coming that close to winning angered me, so I whooped McMahon's ass at WrestleMania, in a Hell in a Cell match.
I know a lot of you hate the fatal-four-way match in Day of Reckoning 2, but the match that pissed me off was the tag team match right before SummerSlam. Can't get no pinfall, no submission, not even a knock out. HBK didn't do jack squat, Christian and Kane kept ganging up on me!

Any ladder match where the prize has a life bar. What always would happen is, you'd climb and pull and pull and get knocked off. You'd do this until the prizes' life bar was drained, finally you'd get hit with some BS move and the CPU would just casually climb the ladder and win.

Forget which Smackdown v Raw game it was in. But Elimination Chamber matches when opponents would break pins.. Dude just let me eliminate this guy so I can end this clusterf*** of a match which is basically me vs 5 guys who would rather be pretending to be Spider-Man .. In that they they are constantly climbing the chamber.

In that they they are constantly climbing the chamber. Having KOs turned on always helped tremendously due to this, though sometimes you could get away with just tossing someone into the ring, since a lot of the guys are so busy climbing shit that it's often the easiest place to get alone time with an opponent.
