It really doesn't matter what Bischoff did to the company - he was fully allowed to make it happen and in part brought in to oversee such things. Everything he and Hogan did is Dixie's fault for letting it happen, and is immaterial to him not being paid for his work. Exactly. Dixie is to blame for Hogan/Bischoff coming in. She offered them money, they accepted, and now she has to pay them what they are owed. It's that simple. Bischoff's job performance is irrelevant because at the end of the day Dixie was in charge. Pay him and everyone else who they haven't paid yet. Would people be saying this if it was any other company?

CM Punk was a top wrestler. Eric Bischoff helped run TNA into the ground and I don't think he should be rewarded for that.

If Vince refused to pay Nash and Michaels what they were owed in 95/96 because business was down, how would you feel? Or, if Vince refused to pay his staff in 95/96 because business was down, would it have been OK since they contributed to the company's struggling? Ultimately, Vince is the boss. In this case, Dixie is the boss. They have an obligation to pay people what their contracts/terms indicate, just like any other employer. If you worked in a restaurant and were the most incompetent waiter there, you'd still get paid what you were owed before they dismiss you. That's business.

Correct, even if you are fired, the company is obligated to pay you the hours and days you put in before you were dismissed.

Well I'd rather see whatever limited funds TNA can scrape up go to the talent than be leeched by Eric Bischoff.

They were hired to try and turn around TNA's Dixie led failures, which they did. Success is immaterial, they were hired to do a job and they did it. Now if it was performances based you might have a point but to act like these people don't deserve money promised for the job they did is just enabling the worst of pro wrestling.

All Bischoff needs is to show the contract he signed with TNA when they did it and the written agreement between the two and he'll win and be paid what he is owed. That's all he really needs, If it's written in paper there's nothing TNA can do to protest it.

As an employer you can fire someone if you don't think they do their job well enough but you can't let them work and just decide to not pay them.

It's payment due for services rendered. You're stuck on semantics that shouldn't even be entering into the equation. He was an employee who did not get paid. He deserves the money owed.

I am tired of saying this If what is reported is true.... Bischoff isn't leeching... or stealing anything.
TNA contracted him promising to pay him x to produce the show, he produced the show.
Regardless if he was good at his job that is completely irrelevant.
The contract was that he would do it and because of that he would be paid x, so they owe him x. Since he did the job guess what it's already his money.
In summation... IF TNA AREN'T PAYING SOMEONE WHAT THEY ARE LEGALLY OWED, TNA ARE IN THE WRONG. PERIOD.
Any other company under the same circumstances they'd be in the wrong too.
This isn't a LOLTNA are terrible at everything deal... and stop trying to spin it that way.

Yeah legally, Bischoff is owed money. This ain't stealing, it's getting what you're legally owed. His performance in TNA has shit on contracts that one side isn't honoring.

If TNA were so unhappy with the services offered, they perhaps a) shouldn't have signed such a long deal with the company before a shorter trial period b) sought to negotiate their way out of the contract when it was clear that the relationship wasn't working out, rather than letting them go sit and home and collect the rest of the full amount for doing nothing. There are options here that were the company run by anyone with half a brain, could have been taken. They seemed to think that ignoring it would make it all go away somehow.
