How dare you start the grieving process without me?! I have feelings too!!
With the deepest regrets and tears that are soaked Im sorry to hear TNA finally croaked. It lived a full life on its own terms, soon it'll be forgotten and eaten by worms. But if I was an owner as stupid as you, I'd hire Vince Russo too. So be brave and get your life back on track, this shit hole is dead and it aint ever comming back.
f*** you TNA, the company deserves this, how they treated Jesse Sorensen, Daffney, Roxxie, and Nigel McGuiness. Rob Terry receiving an unprotected chairshot, not paying the crew, choosing Vince Russo despite Spike telling you not too, becoming Hogan's circle jerk, the red bird cage, reverse battle royals, Rellik, Black Reign, letting Jeff Hardy wrestle while being under the influence, letting Tommy Dreamer get airtime, ruining Samoa Joe for years, Bubba the Love Sponge, the Nasty Boys, trying to hire Bobby Knight as a coach, Okato....
I could go on forever, just f*** you Dixie, at one time you had the second biggest wrestling, then you chose Russo and Hogan over Jarrett and Dutch Mantell, you thought going against the WWE on Monday night's was a good idea. You are gonna try to spin this a positive, when your company is such a bad shape that you couldn't pull over 100 thousand views on f***ing youtube, you don't even know if it's TNA or impact, you could've sold the company but decided that you wanted to be a tv character.
The company is dead, no more denying it, no more bs by Havok, no more dick riding by Manik. Have some dignity and admit defeat Dixie. Like I said last year, Vince McMahon won another war without doing anything and even without knowing who he was fighting.
I used to love tna, but the tna I knew died a long time ago, when I think about the company I don't even think about the legendary 3 way, all I can think off is present day Abyss stinking the joint up. I barely remember Kurt Angle debuting, all I see is a broken down Kurt Angle that tried to return to the wwe...

Destination America is dropping them in the last week of September, and they got moved to Wednesday.
If I'm correct, that means that the final episode of Impact lands on September 30, which is also my birthday.

I was a pretty avid viewer throughout 2006 up to early 2007, when the Russo booking killed my interest in the show. After that I caught the odd PPV every now and then, because despite hating some of the angles there were enough talented guys there that I could rely on for awesome matches. I finally got back into it in late 2009 right before the Hogan/Bischoff regime killed them dead. After that mess I was done for good.
It's sad because back in 2006 I had genuine hope that TNA could be the alternative brand to WWE. Yet all they wanted to do at the end was mimic the big dogs instead of trying to find their own niche segment, in the monopolistic market. Even though I hear the show's improved, I've given them far too much benefit of the doubt to believe this time is different. So while I'm genuinely sad that the company may be folding in 4 months, and hate that it came to this. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

Do we think MVP using the N word on a live show had anything to do with DA cancelling them?
I'm doubtful. But I could see them not wanting to be associated with a show where the heel of the show is speaking a lot of truths about current topics and he's meant to be hated and the top program has a man in hot pink tights choking a 50-year-old Olympian with a prosthetic leg.

Goodspeed TNA. For some reason Bully cautiously laying himself on that table always kills me. Like a old man trying to find his footing.

A little off topic but does anyone else feel like the entire promotion lost a ton of steam that they never really regained when they rebranded them selves IMPACT WRESTLING rather then TNA? Below is a list of times TNA blew a lot steam, just off the top of my head. -When TNA turned Jeff Hardy heel and enabled him while he would "disappear" during shows to do drugs before his matches. I know about Hardys well documented history with drugs, especially like a couple of times in TNA e.g. vs Sting, but I have never heard that before?!

So, TNA is going to spoil their entire PPV (most likely their last one) the week before the show?

Bound for Glory was a glorified house show last year. This is actually TNA's biggest card in the past year.

The mind boggling thing mentioned in this thread is the notion that TNA turned down other networks for Destination America. I never knew this and am baffled that they might turn down WGN to go to a crackpot network that runs Bigfoot shows and rednecks looking for ghosts. I mean geez, I know the Cubs have sucked for over 100 years but it's still better than Destination America. TNA really has been a promotion in name only for a while now. They don't really run shows, don't run hardly any PPVs, and tape TV in massive bulks weeks at a time. Some of these guys might go to Jarrett's group, some to Japan, but I doubt WWE really wants many of them. They might take Jeff Hardy back. This is one other reason I didn't want TNA to die. I don't want Jeff Hardy to come back to WWE just to get the "f*** our current roster" demigod treatment. TNA croaking affects WWE too.

So they are taping past their PPV, thus essentially making it worthless.

I dislike Vince McMahon greatly, but I f***ing hate Dixie Carter as an owner. She might be the sweetest lady darlin' but I cannot forgive her for ruining what for years was my alternative to WWE when Cena's forever reign was going on.
It's like she's the captain of a ship, and has a cannon, and instead of shooting the cannon at other ships she just turns the cannon around and fires the cannonballs into her own ship. Russo. Hogan. Bischoff. Getting rid of Styles, Daniels, Kaz. Meh. I hope someone does a podcast with her after it's all over and just calls her out. People want to bitch about Stephanie never getting her comeuppance, lord, if anyone deserves it it's Dixie.
I'm depressed. And feel really bad for the talent. Especially a guy like EC3 who was finally getting ready to make some kind of name for himself. Yeah it's the TNA Title, but still.

I'm still not convinced this would be the end. I never underestimate TNA's ability to cut costs, spin bad deals as good ones, outright lie to their employees and basically do anything for the sake of surviving far past the point of sanity.
'Zombie promotion' is right.
