how about they rather than rushed a shirt out they took the time to make a good one? They did. That shirt is great. Ditto. And also it seems to be the culmination of everybody in the WWE sporting that Muhammad Ali shirt...by making one of their own.

This new kind of deal could open doors for Japanese guys to tour NXT without having to leave their home fed.
Maybe it opens up possibilities for talent exchanges.

That was the perfect way to end a pretty damn good show.
It was masterful really. I'm one of those that hasn't seen much of Joe but they played it so that even a casual fan would know this is perhaps NXT's most shocking moment to date. Considering that "Unstoppable" is getting mainstream coverage on websites like the AVCluh, they may have earned a number of new fans with that showcase.
I have never been more excited for the tapings.

The most surreal thing is that there is a Samoan wrestler under a WWE Contract that's NOT related to the Wild Samoan family tree in any way.

The most surreal thing is that HE KEPT HIS NAME. Bryan Danielson and Kevin Steen didn't even get that luxury!

When they started in February, it was supposed to just be RAW and for a month but it's been going well so they've expanded.

And they haven't given him an Umaga/Headshrinkers savage style gimmick?
I'm impressed

That's pretty cool that they are using Joe as an experiment, essentially, by giving him this unique deal. This could be a game changer within the industry. It's a fine line for WWE to walk. Having someone like Joe who is as big an indy draw is there is under their umbrella could ultimately serve to bring the indies up as a whole, thus making bigger indie stars that they can sign and make WWE stars. But then they don't want the indies to get too big, making it so indies can pay guys more so WWE has to start paying guys more, etc. Should be really, really interesting.

It's definitely interesting timing - you've got Joe with this deal and TNA on the brink of extinction. Makes you wonder if they'd bring in TNA vets that may be past their WWE prime years but still have worth like Storm, Roode and Young...

The most surreal thing is that there is a Samoan wrestler under a WWE Contract that's NOT related to the Wild Samoan family tree in any way. He could be the first Samoan wrestler in WWE not related to the Anoaʻi family since Siva Afi in the 1980s.
