It is well documented and quoted by him that he was firmly looking at retiring before he resigned with the company a few years back (for his third run). Do you think NXT has changed his mindset and he would want to continue? Is there a place for him in the indys? ROH? PWG? Would you want him on NXT? Or do you think he will go back to his original plan of (unfortunetely from my percpective) retiring (before ever getting a go in WWE main roster and/or NXT)

I've heard before that WWE didn't want him so I'm guessing it's back to ROH for a final run.

I really hope TNA doesn't fold because a lot of talented men and women may be out of a job, and regarding Aries I would love for him among ohters to get a chance to shine on NXT then hopefully move on to bigger things on Raw or Smackdown.

Considering that WWE didn't want him and he nuked his bridges with Ring of Honor when he left the second time- Either GFW or Lucha Underground give him a shot, or retires.

Probably gonna retire. I know time heals all wounds and never say never but he pissed off A LOT of people in ROH. WWE doesn't want him, they've made that perfectly clear. On top of that, I've heard there's no way Aries would a wellness test.
He could always link up with GFW or head to Japan (although, even there is a limited amount of spots) but don't be surprised if he announces that he's done shortly after TNA folds.

Back when he tried to get with WWE, they were still in the mindset of, "if our scouts didn't find you and we didn't make you you're worthless to us."
Now that they are actively scouting out top of the line talent he may get a chance. I don't think guys like Balor, Owens, Zayn, and others would've been signed if they were still going by the policy that they had for years.

I like too see him in NXT. If the WWE changed there mind and it could be different because of HHH's power. Other wise I could see him in GFW where he be an asset. Other wise retirement.

WWE may give him a chance but I don't think he would pass the wellness test anyway. HHH may consider him but it would probably be more of a trainer role than competitor. He comes across as guy that could leave it all behind on a whim because he's tired of it. If it isn't a little stint in Japan than I foresee retirement for him.

I can see his chances with WWE being better now, but he still might be damaged goods. And yeah, what's his issue with ROH?

Assuming he didn't go to ROH or WWE, I would imagine there are some other places he could go. Barring that, retirement or some training role, since when he was in Ring of Honor, didn't he have some hand in training? I could imagine he'd have a good shot of success at it, since he at least has the fortune of owning his name and having a pretty solid career to point to. That said, talent and success do not always translate into a good teacher, as for instance Daniel Bryan dislikes training people, and on paper he'd look like a natural choice.
