Was everyone online this uppity when Nicole Bass was on the main roster? Do people cry when a guy is called a little girl / little bitch?

Back then, the WWE was all about being as balls to the wall as possible. They could say that Nicole Bass looked like a man and it kind of fit in with how things were. Now, the WWE is a publicly traded PG company. They promote anti-bullying and want their Divas to be role models to little girls.

When they promote male cancer awareness as much as that Koman shit and stop emasculating their male talent then I'll cry for Tamina.

Probably not, but it is lazy writing I agree but we need to be fair when crying a river. Tamina is on Rosa Mendes and Layla level of "how is she even employed in 2015?" with me - that's more insulting than Paige saying she looks manly in a scripted promo. We also need to be as outraged when men are emasculated because it is funny. Miz with that stupid advert didn't get this uproar on here months ago with women body shaming him on tv but he's a man so it's cool. Equality and gimme the vote rawr.

Whether one agrees with Tamina being in the WWE or not is besides the point. People constantly criticise WWE for emasculating men. Practically every appearance by Stephanie on RAW is met with derision for her insistence on doing so.

I still cry no tears for Tamina. I'm a c***.

I haven't seen the Miz segment you are referring to. And it doesn't matter what you are (or what your board gimmick may be), on a basic storytelling level, it makes no sense for Paige, the nominal face, to be doing promos like that against the supposed heels.

Considering the sexual objectification, lack of representation, and overall neglect of the women's division, making the ring ropes pink is pretty much the least they can do for their female demographic. Also, I'm gonna need you to give me one example of WWE "emasculating their male talent".

She or the writers thinks acting like a fool like she does on Total Divas will get her over, it obviously isn't working. Paige is like Adam Rose in that when they first arrived I marked when their music hit but now I feel sorry for them as they don't have a clue what their characters are meant to be anymore.

Why is a girl looking like a man such a bad thing?

Paige has always been awkward as hell doing promos. She emphasises the wrong words in the wrong way.
I'm not sure if its nerves or she's uncomfortable reading a script. She is charismatic with a strong personality but that rarely comes across on tv
One thing I noticed is that the monologue portion was dreadful, but once Naomi and stamina came out and she had them to play off of she seemed a lot more confident.

In some ways, Paige comes off as the female John Morrison. Great in the ring, attractive, seemingly very quick-witted and funny when allowed room to just act like herself and react to things, but cannot cut a promo that isn't coming 100 percent from herself.

I also hated her slags towards Naomi. Actually, I hate anytime when wrestlers acknowledge that they're supposed to "have personality and be entertaining." I know kayfabe is dead but on the show they still pretend the wrestling matters right? Why would you need to entertain? Why are you stealing the show Dolph? Rollins is a dirty cheater and winning. Not necessarily the same thing. Even in UFC, with seven separate divisions, not only do fighters wanna be the best, they wanna be the hottest name out there and be the one putting on the Match of the Night every night. There's room for that in wrestling, not parallel with being the best wrestler, but right along with it. The Rock not only made himself out to be the best wrestler in the room, but the most "electrifying" as well.

Whenever she screams "THIS IS MY HOUSE" I die a little inside.

It doesn't help matters that she's trying to disguise her Norfolk accent. She's so focused on not trying to sound like someone who should be driving a tractor, she forgets how to do the promo, which would be a challenge even if the material was good.
Keep her quiet, keep her mysterious.
