Matthews is little less than a worm, when he pulled this stunt with JR he quickly put his tail in between his legs and deleted them as well. What happened with him and JR? I am drawing a blank....

If Josh is Salty Josh, does that make Mike Tenay, Peppery Mike? Al Snow is Mrs. Dash And Velvet Sky is Mrs. Rash.

Josh Matthews is bitch made for life. He should be banned from using twitter.
Josh is the biggest bitch at TNA, bigger than Manik and Bob Ryder.

Twitter is truly the worst thing possible for people like Josh, because they can't seem to take any criticism thrown their way and they react defensively and look like a dick. At least in WWE they seemed to have a better leash on people lashing out on Twitter, but in TNA where Josh can be himself he's proved himself to be an obnoxious jerk. WWE's limitations can truly be a blessing for some people.
Twitter should be used by wrestlers as a way to promote their products. Not brag about your "buckets of money" when it's well known there's a lot of staff that didn't get paid. It makes you and your company look like amateurs. The best course of action is to ignore negative comments and act professional.

The best course of action is to ignore negative comments and act professional. I don't think he understands humility. I believe if you are a person in the public spotlight like that and you can't handle pressure then don't get on social media, point blank simple. I'm pretty sure WWE encourages guys to have a Twitter handle but that doesn't mean you have to post on it. Guys like Big E use it to their advantage to show the side of themselves they don't get to on TV or weren't able to. I believe Josh wrote something like he created himself ignoring the simple truth of what he was arguing about in the first place. The Eli Drake guy put his foot in his mouth to. Like I said in a earlier post it tells a lot when the leader can't control their soldiers or at least put a leash on them. We've seen this before with Kurt and yet nothing was done to him after multiple stupid post. People may give Vince shit but more often then naught his boys have enough respect for him and generally a lot of them will do jump out a window if he asked for it.

It's really sad that he feels the need to justify himself by waving about his "buckets of cash" because a lot of people who legitimately do have "buckets of cash" don't ever wave it around the fact flagrantly. I have a relative who's really loaded because he's really high up on the totem pole of one of the fast food chains here but he never goes around talking about it. He lives comfortably of course, but not to some point of ridiculous excess just for the sake of doing so. What's the point of having money if you're a douche and there's nobody to share the benefits of your wealth with?

It's a shame he's calmed down, because I was waiting for him to completely snap and say "I'm the God Damn Josh Mathews!" Hooray for crude MSPaint jobs.

I used to think that Matt Striker was a douche, but at least he admitted that it was partly his fault he didn't succeed at WWE, that he should've focused on producing sound bytes while commentating and other stuff. He took responsibility and since leaving he has never buried the company. Unlike Josh Matthews who criticizes the same company that overpaid his lack of talent, he was a f***ing 4th string announcer, a non entity.

Some guys know not to burn their bridge and on top of that it's not always "the suits" fault sometimes you have to hold accountability on your end. The funny thing with Josh is that you only performed for a cup of tea as a talent so the company switched you to an announcer. If you were somewhere else they would of jus kicked you to the curb if they told u no more wrestling. You wouldn't still be leaving your dream and have the opportunities you have now if it wasn't for the company you despise.

Josh Mathews addressed his saltiness on his podcast today: www1.play.it/audio/mens-lifestyle-aficionado-presented-by-josh-mathews/episode-14-social-media-trumaker-com/?utm_content=bufferfe409&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=social&utm_campaign=playitI actually wasted a half hour of my life listening to it. Here are the highlights: He went to a BBQ at Bob Ryder's house Sunday. Rockstar Spud was there. They all laughed about his tweets. He stands by his initial tweet about the NXT announcers should have said how they knew who Samoa Joe is, but then said they didn't have to acknowledge TNA. He spent 13 years as a broadcaster in WWE, so he is more than qualified to give his opinions on HIS twitter account. Went on to emphasize it's his account, and he can say what he wants. TNA had so much confidence in him, they allowed him to do commentary on the "live" Impact solo. He felt like everyone was piling on between his tweet, and the story that DA cancelled Impact. Never addressed the cancellation head on, just said how mean people are, wishing the company went out of business, and that people would be out of work. He felt he had to defend himself, and got carried away, that's why he deleted the tweets. He is not just an announcer, he helps with the website and marketing, and is at TNA headquarters every day. He even recorded his podcast there. That was it for TNA or twitter related items. I did find it ironic that he had posted about how much money he makes, and in the next segment after explaining his twitter meltdown, he was talking about ordering custom made shirts, 6 of them, for $125.00 each, and that he wore one on the live Impact. Ended the podcast by promising to do a podcast about guys getting manicures and pedicures, and had an idea to combine a sports bar with a spa. The classic run with your tail between your legs excuse. It's fine if Josh wants to say what he wants jus man up and own it don't say oh because I could then make a excuse. With all the bile he was spewing on his podcast as you reported i'm surprised his teeth didn't rot out.

Josh is definitely one of those kinda people where they can't take what they dish out. Also, he says that people are being mean about people possibly going out of work, and then in the next segment, he goes and brags about buying custom-made shirts while a lot of the talent are getting shafted on their pay. What a total asshole.
