I'm honestly surprised Aries has stuck around this long, as he seems like a man that doesn't take any bullshit and TNA has been overflowing with bullshit for a year now. Dixie especially.
Bully Ray summed it up nicely on twitter last year, and they still haven't learned their lesson it seems: 'When Generals do not properly communicate with their soldiers, consider the war lost and the soldiers dead.'
The lack of communication and lies is astounding.

Sure if you are a guy like Lebron you can call your own plays but you don't have a Lebron on that squad you have a bunch of JR Smith, who in itself is talented but a wildcard and I damn sure don't trust him calling plays.

The thing is... where can Aries go? Does anybody want him now?

The thing is... where can Aries go? Does anybody want him now? Based off his name he could stand to still make a few extra dollars on the indies but as a high maintenance guy it will be for a short while. I don't think at his age he would be willing to travel to Japan. If WWE wants him then it would more than likely be in a trainers role at the developmental center.

So umm...isn't Aries in that tag team thing with Roode? You know, the one I do not believe is finished taping yet?

Wasn't Bobby Roode champ when his contract was expiring a few years ago? Havok debuted, became champ, and then was squashed by Kong within like a 5 month span. See where i'm going with this.

Weren't there reports a couple years back that Christy Hemme had like a ridiculous six figure deal with TNA considering how little she did that dwarfed the pay of just about all the other Knockouts? There was reports she was making six figures during 2005 and was making more than AJ Styles

TNA was really the only place he had left to wrestle on the big indies.

I got nothing against Christie. Even though she was in WWE first, I absolutely consider her a TNA star-she has been with the since their early days and I still love seeing those legs on my TV. But to be perfectly blunt, her value to the company has been dubious for some years now. Granted, she was never on the level of say, Trish Stratus. But once she was no longer able to really participate in the ring in any capacity, she became a questionable asset. At a time when the company is having financial trouble, her name was at the top of the list of paychecks the company could definitely afford to do without. And when I heard she was on the booking committee I was honestly scratching my head. She's been with the company as long as anyone, so she would obviously know the ins and outs, but I still can't help but think it makes more sense to offer a seat on the booking committee to someone who actually...you know...has a history on the promotional end of things. But at this stage, TNA parting ways with Christy is just one more nail in the coffin rather than a step in the right direction.

Reasoning like that are why Russo still occasionally gets work. Because doing it that way ensures that no one new will ever take over creative in any capacity because just like in ring if you only stick to the old guard the new guard will never get their shot to contribute.

Not for nothing, but I've said more than once that I think Christy's booking committee seat would be better filled by Gail Kim.

An active wrestler on the booking committee is another can of worms and is generally not a good idea. Also I'm pretty sure it was reported that Christy generally acted as liaison between the knockouts and creative and wasn't actually booking anything.

Now, there is a very simple explanation. I think this conveys it. I must have this action figure. I'm, um, a collector or something. Vintage, mint condition and such.
