As expected for Memorial Day, combined with basketball and hockey. Though I know SOME people are going to go on with the whole "WWE sucks, product sucks, boring, no one wants to watch" schtick even though it was a holiday that always does poorly.

Raw on Memorial Day did 3.59 million viewers, which was identical to the Memorial Day number of 2014.
It would be the second lowest number of the year, beating only the 5/4 show that did 3.57 million viewers.
All things considered, the number isn't that bad, given the Warriors-Rockets game head-to-head with the last two hours did 8.28 million viewers.

Yeah, let's just ignore the low ratings lately. SOME people, amirite?

Yeah, let's just ignore the low ratings lately. SOME people, amirite? That has no relevance what-so-ever for the rating on Memorial Day. Last year's Memorial Day Raw did roughly the same numbers. 2013's Memorial Day was very down compared to the rest of the year. So what I was saying was this happens every Memorial Day, but there's always a few people who ignore the holiday factor any time Raw's on a weird day and try to claim that it's because the product sucks. The rating was going to be low no matter how the product's quality had been because that's what happens on Memorial Day.

Seth Rollins obviously needs to be on the show more. He's a draw as champ!

Doesn't matter if it was a holiday. There was no reason for the snotty post about SOME people.

Truth is the evil GM/Owner is played out in wrestling. Been going on for 20 years
Who can forget Steph telling Cena that the WWE don't need him. Treat your top guys like losers and what do you expect Fans don't want to watch someone that are told is a loser

Memorial Day was a legitimate reason.

Treat your top guys like losers and what do you expect Fans don't want to watch someone that are told is a loser Even King Joffrey and the Cigarette Smoking Man had to die eventually. It's not even about comeuppance as much as it is closure. If you don't get rid of an antagonist when they reach their expiration date, the show will feel like it's spinning its wheels in the worst way.

It happens every time there's a legitimate reasoning for the rating being low that isn't "Show sucked." Memorial Day was a legitimate reason. Why did you feel you had to point that out? The ratings have been consistently low. There's no reason to believe that the ratings would've gone up, holiday or not. And still, not getting the whole reason to call out SOME people.

Until Raw hits somewhere in the mid 2's or hits the TNA 1.1 mark, it's pretty much whatever. WWE hasn't been REALLY good and must watch since the Summer of Punk. And before that...maybe 2001.
Basketball, Football, The Cooking Channel it doesn't really matter. RAW will continue to live between mid 3's and mid 4's no matter what's on the other channel.
Wrestling ain't hot and hasn't been in about 15 years.

At least WWE gets to use legitimate sounding reasons for bad ratings.
When TNA gets bad ratings they have to say things like "Well that's only because they were showing reruns of Sanford & Son!" or "ESPN2 was showing the quarterfinals of the womens indoor volleyball SEC tournament!"

Imagine if King Joffrey still stuck around to make life miserable for everyone in Westeros, even when there's multiple chances for the GoT writers to take him out of the narrative.
