Okay. Come on. NXT doesn't need to become aging Indy darling land. I loved AJ but come on. This is getting ridiculous. And isn't the NXT I fell in love with.

I don't see AJ signing with them anytime soon. Guy seems perfectly happy tearing it up in ROH/New Japan.
Maybe in a few years though when he's ready to settle down.

AJ can come to WWE but that tattoo must stay in Japan.

Conflicted. Doing great things in New Japan and with ROH. ROH just got some big news. Yet, I'd love to see AJ get a shot in NXT/WWE. It's very good news that WWE has changed their mindset so much in one year's time. AJ's agent recently said that when AJ left TNA, there was no interest from WWE from anyone in power.

I'd rather see him in ROH at this point. See how it goes for a year on Destination America. WWE is already stacked with talent.

I can see them being interested in him and a few other big non E talents right now because of Sami and Itami being hurt.

And since McCool took his finishing move and did it better than he ever did, theres no risk of neck injuries from this marble-mouthed, smosh-haired, retarded asshole muppet either! Sweet!
Sign him and have him job to CJ Parkers ghost.

WWE could give him a sticker with a smiley face on it instead, he'd probably like it more since he wouldnt have to read.

Even though Styles is one of the gold standard of stars in the 21st century and the current "Sting" of this generation as "biggest name to never sign with WWE", I want to believe the only reason they're willing to sign him now is because WWE saw their AJ retire.
Please don't rob me of this beautiful thought.

Please don't rob me of this beautiful thought. And I personally want it to stay that way. I want AJ to be someone who gives wrestlers hope that you don't have to make it to WWE to be a success and if he signs, I think it ruins that. AI Styles is a good wrestler because he DIDN'T wrestle in WWE. Let people learn that and let it sink in.

Only way I see AJ going to WWE is as a NXT wrestler/trainer. AJ's about to turn 38 and could work NXT for a couple of years while getting used to the WWE system then become a full time trainer when he's ready to hang up the boots.

I'm perfectly fine with AJ staying in NJPW and ROH. There is such a thing as over saturation of talent to where guys get lost in the shuffle.

If AJ can grab a deal like Samoa Joe where he gets to keep his name, sell his merchandise and continue working the indy dates, I don't see how he could refuse. He won't have to travel to Japan and be away from his family, He'll just need to travel to Orlando once or twice a month, film some tapings for NXT and then take indy dates when they're available to him - I see that schedule working well for him.
The thought of Samoa Joe and AJ Styles competing against each other in a WWE ring is a very surreal - although now quite possible - thought. Wrestling is very interesting again all of a sudden.

I guess it'd mean he'd at least not do the Styles Clash anymore, since someone would have the guts to tell him no.

I'd be cool with it. AJ has had his run in New Japan and I would be more than OK with the emphasis being put back on the Japanese talent. AJ vs Joe in NXT would be crazy.
