I made a joke back in the thread about the ratings speech where I said Dixie wanted it recorded and shown on Impact. Suddenly it's a lot less funny because she went one step even f***ing worse with that.

There's no such thing as a wrestling promoter being a wonderful person. Vince McMahon Senior came close.
Same with Paul Bosch

"When we started this project, we thought we were just making some trite little reality TV show for some obscure cable network. Who would have thought that it would eventually develop into a feature length documentary about an eccentric southern belle pissing money away on a multi-million dollar vanity project of a pro wrestling company, with our subject delving deeper and deeper into her own megalomania? None of us, that's for sure. Nor did we expect to be accepting the Palme d'Or at Cannes. It's been a crazy ride everyone!"

What's sad is i'm sure everybody she's talk to about putting that on their network is like yeah, you are ms money bags right, how bout you split the cost with us and if it does well we are in full throttle. It wouldn't surprise me if Dixie went real hard on spending for her pilot to get it off the floor.

Vince Sr. has the benefit of rose tinted glasses in hindsight and the people who utterly hated Vince Jr. comparing the two. Bruno praised Vince Sr. over Vince Jr. but also had more then several issues with Vince Sr. Vince senior screwed him out of pay and then double booked him to get him suspended by the athletic commission. You can say his corruption wasn' as bad but it was a different flavor then Vince's and each was a product of his time and much of the bad stuff they did was to grow their businesses at the cost of other people. You can't even make that argument for Dixie.

One on more reason why we should be happy that ROH got that TV deal. They keep looking better and better by the day.

When will Dixie realize she's one of the most hated people in wrestling ever?

Do you ever think like I do that Dixie is like Charlie from "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"?
I mean if TNA folds she will go back to doing "Dixie work" for Panda Energy

She's more concerned with getting herself over instead of saving her f***ing company. What a Dixie. Reminds me of Dana White wanting to have a reality show called "The Promotor" where cameras follow him around instead of The Ultimate Fighter(back when the company was bleeding money)

You can't be on a wrestling show anymore, but how would you like to be on a show about a woman who drove a wrestling company straight into the ground? Doesn't that sound like fun? We've seen that episode of Impact already.

Plus, I'd say his one stint as a wrestling promoter went a lot smoother than most TNA shows. The Trashman was a great homegrown talent and the Birds of War song was better than anything Serg ever composed.

She inherited Charlie's cluelessness and Dee's arrogance and unlikeability. Shit, I just headcannoned that.
