I haven't seen such a soul-crushing reaction in a long time. If they don't beat Golden State (I almost typed "Golden Sun" by mistake a second ago) in Game 2, this series might not last much longer.

Jon Barry reportedly heard someone within the Cavs organization say that they feel Kyrie Irving (knee) will not play again in the Finals.

I feel bad for him. It didn't sound good at all from what I was reading.

This f***ing sucks man. All the best to Kyrie Irving.
Moving back to the series, this means LeBron can't come off the court the rest of the series.

And so a season that was often changed in big ways due to injuries will now have another event changing injury as the cherry on top.
Warriors have this.

And Lebatard's cohosts just broke out into aYES and SI chant over LeBron losing, all while Lebatard is horrified by the injury
LeBatard's cohosts just tried to blame him for celebrating the damn injury by saying the series was over

Get well soon, Kyrie.
I feared it was gonna be worse- a tear, something with the ACL/MCL.
Hopefully he'll be ready to go on Opening Night.
Real shame also because he was so good this year. Up until the foot injury, he was playing on a level just below Curry/Westbrook.

Man, I just feel for Kyrie. I still think the Cavs can steal a win, but I'd be surprised if this series goes past 5. Lebron is an all-time great player, but as great as he is, he can't win a championship with the next best player being Iman Shumpert.
I also feel for Cleveland sports fans. That city is snakebitten.

That's Rotten Luck for Cleveland man, and I feel especially bad for Irving. Injuries were just a bitch this season.

If LeBron falls to 2-4 in the Finals, you're gonna hear so much LEGACY talk, but..... Magic Johnson also lost 4 times in the Finals. So did Kareem. Both GOAT of their position.
Other than Jordan and Russell, how many other multiple time NBA champions ever lost so few Finals?

As much as I wanted Cleveland to win, I pretty much figure this one is over. Hope LeBron doesn't hit the door running when the finals are over.

The gods must want the Warriors to win because how many of their opponents in these playoffs have had a key players injured. THEY WERE SENT FROM THE HEAVENS!!! FROM THE GODS ABOVE!!! SO THAT ALL COULD FEEL THE POWER OF THE WARRIORS!!! AND THEY WILL CONTINUE TO ATTACK, NOT TO GIVE!! TO ATTACK, NOT TO RECEIVE!!! AND WE WILL FEEL THE POWER OF THE WARRIORS AS THEY CONTINUE TO FLOW THROUGH THE VEINS OF THE WARRIORS!!!!!
