Preferring being a heel because it's easier is... not an ideal mindset to have. I don't know, I've heard a lot of wrestlers say the same thing. The fact that he said he can be the top babyface for the company indicates that he's willing to play either role and give it all, he just has a preference. I know I like it when my job is easier. I know lots of wrestlers have said being heel is easier, but being easier doesn't mean it's more fun - I think I'd enjoy the challenge of trying to get over as a face. Also in this day and age I think that while it might be easier to be a heel, it's actually harder to get booed, because too many fans now are smarks and cheer their favourite heels.

I always found being a face easier myself, which is a shame because I'm 6'5" so rarely if ever got booked as a face.

What is this thing about people not being able to find Destination America?
Most cable providers give you a channel guide, you can search "Impact Wrestling" on your menu screen, or there's this thing called Google.
I don't recall simply not being able to find a channel for months that has a show I want to watch. Ever. If people want to watch it and have the channel, they will find it in like a minute.

That line about Dixie treating the talent like her own children makes me want to call child protection services.

I'll admit that I didn't know what channel Destination America was on before Impact debuted there, but it took all of 10 seconds to type "Destination" in my Tivo's search box and it popped right up. If people don't know where Destination America is on their channel listing, it means they don't care enough to bother.

In the early days, the argument was that WWE had been around forever. Now they can't use that excuse because they've been around for a long time too. Then it was that they had a bad timeslot. But then they got a good timeslot. Then it was that they weren't advertised enough. But then Spike started showing constant commercials for Impact during their Star Trek reruns all day, and the ppvs were being advertised during Raw. Then it was that WWE had more star power. So they got Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, RVD, and Jeff Hardy. Then it was that they should be up against Raw like Nitro. And when no one liked the show, they said it was because people were used to Impact being on Thursday. Then it was that they needed a network that supported them more. And Destination America tried to make them their flagship show. Then the fact that the ratings were low was a total lie and conspiracy against them. Now their fans are to blame for being too stupid tofind the right channel. I mean even if their fans hypothetically were complete morons I'm sure they could channel surf while it's on until they find it. I've never seen a company of any type use so many excuses, it's pathetic.

A lot of people have no clue what they are getting in their cable package, especially with something as obscure as DA so I can see people not knowing they have it. Plus I really doubt many people know the ends and outs of their cable box to know to search for things. Just point and click anything else is too complicated or they don't care. That is why Discovery advertising them as much as they did was a huge thing. People don't like to work to find stuff they were getting with ease before, "why hunt down Impact when there is another show I'd DVR at that time I can now watch live". Yeah, not caring is one way to look at it but we're all creatures of habit and changes like that don't sit well with us.

May be big, may be small but we all get there. Even you never do, it is an extremely small amount of people that don't find themselves struggling with a change of some kind. It is why the amount of shows that have made a successful day and/or channel switch is so small.

It's refreshing to hear someone not insulting fans for not liking something. Gained respect for Storm from this...
...and promptly lost it again. Put down the Koolaid.
The problem here is that TNA has lost all concept of dark matches. Ring time does not necessarily equal TV time. Of course, nobody wants to watch a Khoya match to begin with...

Had to look hard for DA. Did not know it even existed before Impact was picked up on that station. This isn't 1996 when people still randomly channel surfed. The guide is on every cable system. In 2000 when WWF moved to TNN, the concern was there by everyone except WWF personnel. Guess what? Ratings didn't dip much if any. People found it. Impact had over a million viewers a week and held it, so the combination of poor execution for years at a break point (company transition in format or station/time) plus non-availability on cable systems, literally cost them half their audience including me (a formerly loyal fan). I didn't jump off the boat during the DA move. My break point was the Hogan face turn in 11. I just couldn't do it. Around that point they adjusted times or something and it just wasn't what I was used to or what I had loved, so it broke me and I quit. It was gradual but finally I made the conscious choice not to record or watch anymore. 600k fans did this almost at once. Let that sink in

If TNA went from Spike to DA anywhere from 2006 to 2009, more of the audience would have followed. They moved after losing all momentum and basically chased off all by the absolute diehards.

I would like to see Bobby Roode in the revolution too. Just put an angle together where Roode is depressed by his lack of success. Storm tries to make friends again, to brainwash him into joining the revolution. Meanwhile the Revolution feuds with the Wolves for the tag titles. Roode comes in and attack Devey Richards who he lost the tag titles to.
But this is the sort of interview TNA should allow their stars to do more often. Be open about stuff. That has always been a problem with TNA, seeing everybody as their enemies and keeping everything secret.
