"Oh yeah, they sign him to a full time contract. But you still don't mention anything about TNA, Dixie Carter, or my bags of money I like to imagine I carry around. Stupid wwe!

Might be a long shot, but I'm hoping he'll be at the June 11 NXT show. Why? Because I'll be there too! He doesn't even have to wrestle; I'd be happy with him just doing a run-in.

Brock vs Joe, Wrestlemania, MAKE IT HAPPEN. People got really excited when Joe and Angle had their staredown, a Joe and Brock staredown will be off the page.

PWInsider is confirming the story and like I thought, ROH's move to cable played a big part as well:
MAJOR WWE-SAMOA JOE UPDATE by Mike Johnson @ 10:17 PM on 6/1/2015
There's a very good reason as to why Samoa Joe was at WWE's Raw taping tonight - Joe has been signed to a full-time WWE contract, according to several sources. According to those we've spoken to, the immediate merchandise sales of Samoa Joe t-shirts as well as the fact that Joe's appearances for Ring of Honor would now be broadcast on national cable TV both played into the decision, as did Joe's performance at the WWE NXT taping last month.
According to one source, Joe's existing NXT contract featured a clause that would allow the company to sign him to a full-fledged deal. WWE opted to execute that clause this past Thursday on the heels of ROH announcing their national TV cable deal and both sides signed an addendum to the original deal that brings Joe into WWE full-time, making him the first former TNA star to receive his initial national exposure in that company to go on to become a full-time member of the company.
PWInsider.com is currently working to confirm what this signing means for the 6/20 Ring of Honor taping where Joe was slated to team with AJ Styles vs. Kazarian and Christopher Daniels. As soon as we confirm, we'll post.

I can also make an argument for CM Punk, given his appearance in TNA and ROH at the same time, and TNA being slightly higher on the ladder at the time.

Well... he was once held the tag team titles in TNA, so he wasn't a nobody either. It is true that he didn't actually win the titles, but he didn't exactly win the WWE Tag Team Championship either.

Well... he was once held the tag team titles in TNA, so he wasn't a nobody either. Not a star. He meant nothing to TNA. That is the whole point of what he is saying, major players in TNA. Actual stars, not the diluted WWE version of the word. If you're going to use Woods, than Hoyt, Tritan and Trinity and the rest all count too and we know they don't.

If you have to qualify it that much, the statement loses its power. Xavier Woods wasn't a huge star. I'm not saying he was, but he was there with Truth and Consequences and they were the tag champs at some point. He also formed Lethal Consequences with Jay Lethal. He wasn't a star, but he did some notable things. He's now held championships in both companies!

Xavier was decently well pushed in TNA as a member of Lethal Consequences. Well, until he threw up mid-ring during the same bullshit flu panic that stopped Shark Boy's career too (and if you think those aren't the reasons for their exit, I'd like to remind you Desmond Wolfe was forced out for catching the tame version of Hepatitis)

With Zayn getting hurt, and Owens taking the WWE spot, that left a spot open. Add the RoH/DA deal, and the Joe Merch sales, and we got a perfect storm.

By a show of hands, who thought he would ever sign a full-time WWE contract and get to keep the Samoa Joe name?
