I have been sporting the black with white stripe high top since Bones brigade. I have been noticing the style is coming back with the younger folk, coming fresh off a Chuck Taylor trend. Do i care kids if middle school are wearing shoes I helped make famous in high school. No. Am i glad that I will now be able to find these shoes everywhere instead of having to order them from some mail order catalog for the one pair they have in my size on this half of the Western world. F@#$ YEAH!!! Discuss the greatness of the first skateboard shoe. I prefer mine like this It also makes a great Kung Fu shoe. Flat sole. nice.

I rock the Spicolli style black/white checkered slip ons. They're like, dingy brown and black checkered now though. And they're falling apart. I'll be getting some new ones soon, as they're like, the most comfortable shoes ever.

I'm still trying to understand them shoes with the wheels in the heels cause kids are to damn lazy to walk. I'm trying to figure out a single wheel stuck in the sole of a shoe can allow those kids in the commercial to do those "SICK STUNTZ OMG FTW!". It must be a magic wheel.

I'm amazed those things are making a comeback, those were cool in like...1999-2000, and then fell into obscurity along with SOAP shoes.
It confuses me.

Currently own two pairs of the checkered Vans. One black/white, the other black/green.
Did you know Sick Of It All has their own custom style of Vans? It's a true fact.

Vans are getting popular because of some stupidass rap song. "I got my Vans on but they look like sneakers." I love slip-ons.

They've been back for about three years now.
And they're still ugly.

They're back? When did they go away?
I have two pairs, slip on ones (the checkered ones) and lace-up (plain black).
