Is the ROH lead-in getting people to stick around for Impact? Wut tha hale? and then they left trying to get through Impact before the RoH replay? Honestly would not shock me. For the longest that was the pattern for RAW, hour 1 was good, hour 2 was the best and the 3rd tanked. Hell, that was the pattern as recently as this week.

I decided to do a quick check in on roh and the first person I saw was Maria. Figured I might as well watch the whole show.

Destination America might be the worst station on earth. 58 year old is your average viewer on a Wednesday?! Christ, both ROH and TNA are going to have troubles on that network at this point.

The replay that followed the one-hour ROH show produced 82,000 viewers.
And For ROH
The first airing of the show delivered 185,000 viewers, and the replay after Impact delivered 145,000 viewers.

ROH basically by definition cannot have any problems with the network, because all they're doing is getting some extra money thrown at them for the show they already produce and air elsewhere. Most it might do's stunt their efforts to get on somewhere bigger and that's not happening any time soon anyway.

I'm loving the back to back TNA/ROH. Unlike a 3 hour Raw, which features the same players throughout the show despite who may or may not be on the roster, the TNA/ROH block has a lot of different wrestlers/angles being shown. Having two actually different promotions like this (And I watch the New Lucha Underground right before TNA as well) jammed in one day doesn't give me nearly the fatigue watching Raw does. Somehow watching like 4 hours of wrestling in one day is refreshing, it is bizarre.

The DAM report: the 9PM IMPACT WRESTLING dropped 0.03 to 0.09 in 18-49s and 102K in total viewers to 267K, adding 0.01/51K at midnight (down 0.02/31K from last week). Quasi-original RING OF HONOR was at 0.05/157K at 8PM (steady in the demo, down 27K in total viewers), and added 0.03/81K at 11PM (down 0.01/64K).
318k total for TNA 238k total for ROH
EC3 and AJ making ratings drop?, overall It has been a bad week for Pro-Wrestling ratings wise...

ROH got a lot less to lose due to it basically is a rerun that cost Destination America little money. TNA on the other hand is entering the stage where they got to convince Discovery to un-cancel them and/or woe potential other channels. Freefalling now is a bad thing/

This is the sad truth for just about any televised pro wrestling; WWE also has an audience that, on average, is older or at least nearly as old as the audience for Major League Baseball. The US audience for pro wrestling is aging, and nobody's replacing that audience as it continues to age. That issue is made even greater for companies like ROH, who are small enough that they don't have a ton of cultural cache and are simply going to draw from the generic pool of said aging "pro wrestling fans".

If there is any silver lining to be had it is for ROH. They went in with an unhyped show and lost far less than the heavily hyped Impact that featured 3 title matches and 2 changes.

ROH at 8 p.m. 157,000 viewers (lowest to date) TNA at 9 p.m. 267,000 viewers (lowest to date except for the week they ran a show from one year earlier) ROH at 11 p.m. 81,000 viewers (lowest to date) TNA at midnight 51,000 viewers (lowest to date) Boy do those numbers speak volumes. From both sides perspective, that has to be a huge disappointment.
