I've seen addiction up close, and I fail to consider it a 'disease' or an 'illness' when it was brought on by that very same person by doing stupid things. It's a slap in the face to people who have real diseases like cancer or ALS. If you don't agree with me, that's fine. But to call my outlook 'messed up' shows that you're intolerant of people who share my belief. I'm not calling YOU 'messed up' because you're more willing to tolerate and/or coddle an addict than I would be. One relapse, yea I can understand having sympathy. Maybe even two. But Hall has relapsed probably a hundred times, cost the WWE hundreds of thousands of dollars in rehab bills (he's their most expensive rehab case to date), and probably damaged relationships with his family members. That's all on HIM. If he doesn't want to grow up, realize that he needs rehab, and actually TRY to turn his life around, then you bet your ass I"m going to keep criticizing him. I think you're being very harsh and ignorant. And ignoring the well documented mental issues he has that has led to him self medicating and his addiction. It is a sad situation that is only made worse by people yelling grow up when they have seem to have zero clue about the situation at hand.

Time for Scott to grow the f*** up. I have no sympathy for him. At least Jake has stayed clean (as far as I can tell). Both of them have had wobbles even when living with DDP. After the HOF last year, both briefly slipped again. It's going to be a constant thing. Hall has moved about 5 mins away from DDP's house so he always has support.

I'm sorry but this is a pretty messed up attitude. You don't just "grow the f*** up" and get over addiction problems. That's why it's an addiction. No matter how far along you get, you can always relapse. Those desires are with you for the rest of your life and it's a constant battle to stay sober. If you don't have sympathy for him, that's fine but please understand what addiction actually is before you tell someone to "grow the f*** up." You claim to have seen addiction up close but it sounds like you need to do some actual research on it because you have a terrible understanding of what actually causes addictions and what being an addict is like.

I agree. Also if you don't support it. Don't comment on it. It is that simple.
