John Cena will wear a MGK In Memoriam shirt next Monday even though he's not dead. Then Cena will vow revenge for the death of MGK even though, once again, he didn't die. Then Cena gets very serious and says avenging MGK's death by facing Owens will be the most important match of his life, even though, as previously stated, MGK is alive. Cena: I shall avenge your death MGK! MGK: actually i'm not dead yet. Cena: Ah well i shall avenge your mortal wounding. MGK: actually john i think i might pull through. Cena: Owens shall pay for seriously injuring you. MGK: actually it's not bad at all. i think i can join you... Cena: No rest brave MGK and i shall avenge you. MGK: ok sir i'll be right here, resting. (sorry been a few years so i'm pretty sure it's not totally accurate) ------------ and then there's the part where if Owens wins Cena comes out the next night making jokes again before becoming so southern preachery that New Day is impressed and wanting his rematch right here tonight. owens says no and cena shrugs and goes on to his next feud.

The fact that they said "Give it up for our boy John Cena" at the beginning made it even better when KO killed MGK. Where is yourboy Cena now? Why doesn't anyone understand that he is a bad friend and can't help anyone he associates with

Why does everyone here hate MGK? Because he's terrible.

Care to elaborate? What don't you like? Are you even a fan of rap music in the first place? Yes, I'm a huge rap fan as countless people including Magic knows Black Lives Matter, @blazinman5, and chazraps can attest to. His music is straight trash, the production sounds like someone beating a trashcan around a parking lot with a 72 Pinto and his lyrics are ridiculously generic.

I'll never knock MGK because he really does a lot for his fans and actually inspired a fan with CP to walk for the first time.

Why does everyone here hate MGK? I remember him being booed a few years ago when he unironically referred to Cena as an underdog.

I'm a huge fan of rap too and I don't see how his production is anything less than top knotch. I also don't see what's so bad about his lyrics. The weird thing is that I'm the type of rap fan that typically doesn't like mainstream artists due to their lack of lyrical depth but I like MGK. I mean, not so much that I listen to entire albums or anything but he's not offensive to my tastes. Different strokes I guess.

MGK went to John Cena school of selling.

I even watched the segment and yet I came into the thread hoping it was Kevin Kelly getting beat up.

But here's the thing. Brock Lesnar was right there the whole time. MGK could have eaten an F5. Or Fifteen F5s! Yep. Brock doing this would've felt natural. This just looks like smark butt kissing... It's not just smark butt kissing. A huge portion of the crowds hate these musicals performances. Watch any arena during one of them, my fav being the crowd during the Kid Rock concert at Mania 25. It's not what they go to these shows for.

I am confused why everyone keeps saying he no sold it. I saw it as his two handlers literally picking his half dead body off the ground and then dragging him backstage. Usually it'd be a stretcher job, because they'd be afraid he had a neck injury. Don't care though, still awesome, Kevin Owens is the greatest.

I thought his performance was fine once it got going a couple of minutes in. It's just, in general, a wrestling show stopping in the middle so a band can play is stupid. Live bands performing someone to the ring on a big show is really cool, especially if it's Living Colour. Random mmmmmmmusical guest, Machine-Gun Kellyyyy is not cool at all. Next MGK show should stop in the middle for a 10 minutes Orton/Sheamus match, we'll see how well that goes over.

I thought the spot was really lame. The camera angles, the padding, etc.
Maybe I'm just too old but back in the day, the Dudley Bouz would have powerbombed that SOB through a table and it would have looked a hell of a lot better.
I get they didn't want to hurt the guy or anything but when you agree to take a wrestling move, that's the risk you take. It just reeked of "fake and lame" to me.

Meh, it looked fine. The crowd let out an audible "OHHHHHHH". So it worked. The guy sold it well too.
